Saturn will turn direct under a full moon in Taurus on November 15th, 2024. Most will welcome this as it’s been very hard to exit the morass with Saturn (and Neptune) retrograde in Pisces.
Many people imagine they are failing, but it’s a mirage. I’m hoping marking this date, will help you wrap up your work in the…upside-down! When Saturn turns direct, it’s time to cover the ground you lost, then head up from there.
I hope can read my lack of fear in this. I understand I’m counterculture with this but I don’t care. If your fear spurs you on, then fine. But for many, it’s a heavy burden. Fear of all the things that might happen, but never do.
With Saturn in Pisces, we’re all permeable. If you’re scared, hang with with the brave; you’ll absorb their energy. If you’re weak, hang with the strong and empowered and you will absorb these things as well.
Saturn is always about boundaries. If you’re overwhelmed with bad feelings or negativity that’s sinking you, it’s your job to place the block. Not just against others, but against yourself!
In fact, now would be a good time to figure out where you’re going to have to draw lines, in order to be able to traverse what’s ahead of you.
Roberta just left a comment on my Grieving post: “We’re all trying to pretend our reality isn’t as bad as it is, for we’re on VERY SHAKY Ground.”
I’m not denying, this but what do you want to be, when on shaky ground, if not a surefooted goat?
Even if you’re down, it doesn’t mean you stay that way. I just heard the term, “shopping cart back”. It describes a person with back pain, that walks around a store, bent over the front rail of the shopping cart.
When I heard this term… well most of you have seen my back. I used to have to do this and I wondered, if I still did! Yes, my back is fixed, but you can be a habit with something like this.
Sure enough, the next time I went shopping, I found myself leaning over the cart. I corrected my posture, immediately, and I will mind this from now on. I mean, how lucky am I, someone fixed that for me! Stand up, for Godsakes!
I’m recalling this story, because I was going to say, if you don’t know where to start, start by fixing your posture.
Look at that goat. He’s got to exit that swamp and climb a mountain. Go time is go time. Any abnormal posture (physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual) is going to make this hard. You have roughly two weeks to plan.
This also reminds me of one of triple Capricorn, Henry’s letters:
Letter to Phyllis Sept. 7 1955
“…Get your courage up for I am coming over to take you to a seance…”
Get your courage up, for we are going to the future!

hallelujah!
Just rereading this post, I’m straightening up my posture. My 77th birthday is November 16. So looking forward to the future, yes!
Those boundaries keep moving, especially as we age. Limitations do have an elegance to them; I can stop pretending I’m my younger self. Admitting and accepting how far I can go/drive is different takes courage. Negotiations with an aging partner doubles the ante.
My Capricorn moon reminds me that goats are not just sure-footed, they pivot. And ever nothing their eyes? Goats need to see what’s coming to eat them and run away!
I’ve reread this a few times, letting the words sink in.
“Saturn is always about boundaries. If you’re overwhelmed with bad feelings or negativity that’s sinking you, it’s your job to place the block. Not just against others, but against yourself!
In fact, now would be a good time to figure out where you’re going to have to draw lines, in order to be able to traverse what’s ahead of you.”
I (pisces sun and north node in the 8th house) am slowly but surely learning this is my Saturn in Pisces lesson (among them, at least).
Welcome, Chris!
been working on fixing my posture for the past 18 months. finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel..
I’d like to think I have prepared for it. I really appreciate the posts of optimism, I have also long believed that any time and any energy can be used for good, that at the end of the day that is up to us; I’ve never been one to feel sorry for myself or wait around for someone else to fix anything. Thank you for this, knowing others are onboard certainly helps. Sometimes the worst of times are at least in some ways, the best of times, in retrospect. Life is funny that way.
And as an aside, I had a pretty awful spinal injury right before Pluto first moved into Capricorn and started to sit on my 2nd house and oppose my Saturn. It took me pretty much the entire time to figure out how to work with that, but over time I found the right people and learned the right things, and at least physically, I am also strong and standing up straight again. Great analogy for all of this.
Yes, I wrote too fast to be understood. I apologize.
Oh thank God. Saturn will get off my Mercury, my daughter’s Sag stellium and just a few days later, Pluto is out of Capricorn.
Breathe…
