I just looked up what was going on with Chiron the week of my very last cycle, which was close to non-existent by then, and Chiron was sitting right on my natal Chiron to the exact degree. Wow. Interesting.

I know what you mean about losing your cycle, Aspire.  Its an ending and when it ended for me I felt I had lost my femininity.  I was very dry and sex was painful, but I was able to remedy that with Vagifem (hormone tablet insert).  It took a little while.  Mentally, I had to accept that I was now embarking on a new stage of life.  After a short while I was comfortable with it.

I'm not sure why some people get hot flashes and some don't.  For me, the bad hot flashes ended with Menopause, but even now at 64, I'll always be a hot person.  My personal thermostat never got over Menopause.

Your tactless male friend hasn't a clue that sexuality becomes even more beautiful and meaningful after menopause.
