Progressed Moon in Cancer

"When the Moon moves into the sign Cancer in the PROGRESSED Chart, it brings extreme depth and intensity of the emotions. Cancer is a water sign, and a wide range of your emotions can best be expressed by tears. You will have a sensitivity to the moods and feelings of others that can border on the psychic. Your extreme sensitivity to others' feelings can put you in a position to be emotionally ripped off by those less healthy. You need to choose your friends and associates carefully, trying to keep optimistic, enthusiastic, up-beat people around you as much as possible. Family is important to you and you will become more strongly connected to family pride and tradition during this life cycle. Home is a basic need for you, a safe haven from which most of your interests and activities originate..."

Interpretation from Progressed Chart Report

Is your progressed Moon in the Cancer? What is it like?

I remember feeling the need to connect with my family. Extended family, too.

Another note: Be prepared to FEEL EVERYTHING. I got a bad case of the feels. Music resonated with me deeply.

I am living through this right now. One word to describe the journey is .....

EMOTIONAL!

I have become very sensitive to the Moon's phases, so much so if the Moon farts I have an emotional breakdown.

The p.Moon house and n.house it falls, as well as your natal Moon position, the ruler of your n.house 4th, aspects and any planets in Cancer will color your experiences.

I have p.Moon in 7th (n.9th) and my relationship with my family have strengthened, become more joyful and friends are more like family now.

It's also true that you'll have to watch your weight, especially the first few months as you adjust to the placing.

True to form, I’m not even officially there and hoping to move closer to family after a long time away. Well not just hoping...looking for jobs and there is an actual chance it’ll happen.

But omg I don’t know WHAT to expect RE: my weight. I have totally conflicting transits: Saturn and Pluto about to enter the first and this progressed cancer moon plus Jupiter in the first later in the year. I guess I’ll become skeletal then blow up then go back to skeletal after Jupiter leaves
