A Taste of my own Medicine

My younger brother is a Pisces but a Scorpio Rising and Scorpio Moon and Mercury in Scorpio too. Last night we were talking just casually about people who party too much in our circles of friends and why they do it.

I was telling him some reasons why people drink, do drugs and party too excess and the guy just stared at me straight and said, "you always talk like you are so sure."

Ouch... (I do and sometimes I'm completely wrong with the things I say but don't realise how I actually come across)

I went to reply but he cut me off and said "why do you try so hard to be taken seriously?"

=O GODDAMMIT OUCH!. He really hit that sweet spot. The guys only 18 y.o!! Total eye opener to my own insecurities though. A taste of my own medicine aswell - that's exactly how I talk to some people sometimes. We'd be having a conversation then all of a sudden that irritating insecurity that I see so clearly becomes too much and I have to say something knowing it's going to hurt. I'm thankful though, under these skies I'm really doing some self work to be a stronger person and reaffirming my belief that a scorpio sting is nothing to fear, it's a gift.
