My mother is having knee replacement surgery next week. I try not to buy into doom & gloom timing, but with Mercury Rx & Mars squaring Neptune, it does seem like unfavorable conditions... I was hoping someone might have another perspective. 🙏

No. You want to look at Saturn (knee). Mars and Mercury are sextile Saturn with Jupiter trining. Expect no problems at all... and a cheery, supportive atmosphere.
