This is, well, I don't know what to call it except insanity.

Take an animal hospital job on August 14 and let go 10 days later cuz I'm too slow.

That's not my effing fault. I'm technically disabled. I have OCD and ADHD. I suspect I'm autistic as well.

Talk about not giving someone a chance. Well, when I was pulled off the floor and kept meeting with the office manager, I knew something was up.

It was a long drive too. After one of these meetings, I was so worked up that I almost quit.

I should have.

What the eff is going on? Is it Saturn backing up on my NN?

I don't have a career at 53. I'm bummed out about it. I don't want to work in a for the paycheck only job. Seems like that's where I'm headed.

I changed jobs three times, and I'm unemployed again, since Saturn went into Pisces. (I was stuck in a temp job cycle the last time Saturn went over the NN.)

I changed jobs twice since the SN went over my DSC.

I'm tired.

Thanks! I feel like I wasn't given a chance. Who decides someone is bad at a job after only six days? I wish I knew what employers are thinking...

@lislioness after 6 days ? 😨 well , I know it really hurts and upsets you. But be grateful they showed their true colors after 6 days ! I’m really sorry and I feel for you. A big hug!

I'm glad I don't have a long commute any more! But realistically, even with experience, people aren't going to get everything right in six days. But that was Pluto telling me you're done with this shit. Four jobs in ashes. I have to go in a different direction.

@lislioness a long commute is very tiring. And yes maybe this is a sign that that sector where you are working in is no longer serving you. With your experience and then to be treated like that? I wouldn’t even want to work for people like that! After i stopped working for that so called friend. I heard she made a mess of the work. ( she took over the company / webshop of her father in law) maybe not nice of me to think. But I thought finally, this is your karma for treating me bad and wanting to take advantage of me.

i really hope you find a better fitting job! I really do.

I don't! The official reason was "it's just not working out". Translated as the practice manager didn't want to waste time training me and simply not liking me. Like I give a shit 🙄🙄🙄

This is the second time in six months this same thing happened. I'm done. I'm tired of wasting time!

I'm so sorry to hear this Lis. I would give it to Transiting Pluto in the 10th square your Asc/Dsc.

Thanks for the consolation. That was my other guess. I had a brief respite when Pluto was in Aquarius. The insanity ramped right back up literally the day Pluto went back into Capricorn.

I'm also upset because I passed up other opportunities only for this to happen. If they feel they wasted time on me, how do they think I feel?

@lislioness ofcourse you are upset and they are just ungrateful! I’m sorry that you passed other jobs for it. I hope you find a better fitting job and like I said : an employer who appreciates you ! I know how it feels. I worked a few months for a friend of mine, and in the end she took advantage of me, and all her promises we do this together and you’ll get paid good. Nothing of it. So I quit , it was the best thing I could do.

Best of luck you deserve a break !

Thanks! Funny, about the third day in, I started hearing things that gave me pause. I thought, did I make another mistake?

One of the techs was 3 months in and ready to walk out.

Another new one called in "sick" after a day and a half. I know how that goes. I did it before. She's ghosting.

The treatment room had two seats. We found one gone in the morning. The owners hid it because the techs were "wasting time". We were told by the HR lackey not to look for it.

I didn't see any of these red flags at the working interview.

I was trying to get the right vitals on the animals, but I felt a huge amount of pressure to do it fast. Result? Mistakes. Well...drop the high pressure environment?

I just can't do it any more. Pluto right there on my angles is making sure I get the message. My four year adventure is ashes.

@lislioness Wow. Not only is this bad for employees but I would also wonder what kind of treatment the animals were getting. Not that you all don’t care or weren’t professionals but a workplace culture comes from the top down and why wouldn’t you want happy or content employees? Happy, content employees pass that vibe along to the animals and owners.

I’m sorry it didn’t work out.

The people at the top don't care. It's as simple as that.

The practice manager was the one who axed me. This woman didn't meet me until I was a couple of days in. There lay the trouble. I obviously didn't conform to her idea of what a 53 yo woman should look like.

She was a typical Southern rich blonde belle from the Nashville suburbs. Even though it's 2023 and personal expression is the thing, I could tell she was thinking this is the new hire? From then on the trouble started. Pulled from the rooms, restricted to what I could do. All within days. Days!

I was so relieved this morning when I could get up peacefully and not have to worry about that long commute. A couple of days in, I thought, this isn't sustainable. My intuition was right.

Vet med these days is more focused on profits than good care, as witnessed by corporations taking over the industry at an alarming rate. It's not good for the animals. This industry is in shambles. It's sad.

@lislioness That is so sad because there is so much that can be done for animals now.

You will find your path forward, to a place you can truly serve 😌

@lislioness O Yes the red flags! I know them too well! After my ordeal I’m feeling blessed , at first I was very sad that my friend could treated me like this. Now I think: thank you I was warned and saved myself in time.

and so do you. Ofcourse it’s sad that they treated you that way. And yes they can’t make up in 6 days that you are not good enough.. who wants to work anyway in a facility like that? I feel bad for the animals. But not for your ex boss.

i don’t know your chart. But read Pluto in the 10th, well I’m in the opposite situation. Pluto in the 4th. For me as a Libra rising and moon  I’m learning to balance things more. I was too much a codependent and let people walk all over me the past 20 years. I’m 44 now and still don’t know where I’m headed. I’m even scared to start a new job . But i do know that working for friends or family isn’t my cup of tea ( and that’s what I’ve done the past 15 years)

my Leo sun in the 10th I don’t even feel it. I’ve never been a person to take the limelight , nor do I want to be my own boss. It’s too unsure. I’ll get there , the answers will come , and so will yours.

I wish you all the luck you need ! It’ll be ok in the end.

hugs

LOL ex boss, it's hard to call her that, being that she was hardly ever in the office.

Your chart is similar to mine. That's my chart with transits in the original post. Leo Sun and Libra Moon. People see the Libra before the Leo. My Sun is in the 5th. My 10th is empty, but my 6th is rocking lol.

I'll play nice to a point, then watch out. 😉

@lislioness o I didn’t knew your chart was similar to mine 😊

my sun is in 10th and my 6th house is empty. And true people see my Libra first. I’m always helping people out. Helping my Iranian neighbours with lessons in Dutch. Or explaining difficult letters to them. But I’m working on that . BecUse people tend to abuse my good nature. I haven’t been angry in a long time. Sometimes I wonder where my Leo energy is, yes my bf always says when you walk in the room the sunshine is coming in. But I was also told with Sun in 10th I would make a good career. Well nope. So sometimes I question my chart of the astrology.

With NN in Virgo in 11th I’m of service to my friends . And very good in administration jobs. Now I’m at a point that I just don’t know what my future will hold. In 6 years I’ll turn 50. so I’m halfway. I can wish things would have turned out different but it is what it is. 😊

Well, I was offered a job in food prep at my favorite local grocer today. I was happy to get it. I wasn't expecting an offer, but hey, it's $$$.

I'll do my best here while figuring out what else I want to do. And a 10 minute commute beats a 70 minute one on a major highway, that's for sure. 😉
