“The Wizard of Oz” is on TCM.
I remember catching this on tv when I was a little kid and it would make me cry because of the witch melting and the flying monkeys 😩.
It’s such an incredible movie in so many ways though…I remember watching it with my MIL once and that in itself was such a beautiful experience.
And my husband just quoted a line from it as he was making his peanut butter crackers 😂🤣😃🤣😂
Lots of emotions in this movie for me, and many people. I feel I can’t just watch it passively.
“The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill” a heart opener, for sure, IMO.
Electric Dreams (Philip K. Dick) was really cool and I don’t hear much about it. It’s a bit older.
Last night we watched Three Thousand Years of Longing on Amazon Prime with Tilda Swanson and Idris Elba. LOVED it.
I’m watching Out of the Past, a 1947 movie with Robert Mitchum, Jane Greer, and Kirk Douglas. Jane Greer is absolutely cold steady beautiful, a femme fatale. Robert Mitchum is hired by Douglas to go find her because she shot him and stole $40,000.
