Love to read about everyone is living! And how much it differs from my situation. Living in a detached house, that is just a wild dream to me. With extend family, okay, maybe that is a bit less of a wild dream 😉 I think it is really beautiful to read that people still take care of their (grand)parents, in here it is very common to let them stay at a nursery home.

I live in the second biggest city of the country, even if I do not want to I am always surrounded by a lot of people. I live near a park, but that is the only green we have in miles 🙂 I really do feel like another person when I go to the south of country, underdeveloped but at least nature and silence.

In here we also notice that cosleeping with kids is an upward trend, I can only support that (I do not have kids myself) because I really believe it supports a healthy attachment style later in life. And that is a priceless gift.

I grew up in a terraced house, overlooking a train station, which was kind of apt, as the ground beneath me never felt solid - always shifting, with my role never being clear, child or parent, saint or sinner, I couldn't wait to leave and I did when I got my first 'serous' job.

So I lived alone for a while, in a bungalow/chalet-type building. I enjoyed it for the most part, the independence was exhilarating, but, being a Libra, I was really lonely when I came home to an empty house.

Sadly, I became ill, lost my job, and home, and ended up homeless for a while. A friend knew of a room near her, and I was lucky enough to secure it, and a job nearby that paid just enough to cover my rent and bills. I still lived alone, but saw my friend most days so was content enough.

A few months later, I met my current partner and we've been living together ever since - I was 21 and happy to settle down! We've moved a few times, with the addition of our son, but our home-life has always been unconventional - at this time, our flat is in a building surrounded by Air bnb's. It's not ideal, but we are hoping to move asap. My 4th house is ruled by Mars, conjunct Uranus in my 11th house!

when i read the title i thought it was about living in modern style homes, or old fashioned, or a type of style a home is decorated ^^ I think over the years, i've lived in poor in the tropics, with a napa hut only built by people who took resources from the land (trees, coconuts, leaves, bamboos, twigs,) it was actually divine. the food from the ocean, such as crab, fish, shrimp, all kinds of delicious sea food. I've also lived in apartments with my parents when they were young, and also moved in with grandparents on my father's side for a short while, and they were considered wealthy. so i have seen both sides. and i was always with family members. Later after i got married, i lived with the then husband but it was not stable. I always longed for stability. and it was only after my first saturn return that i finally found stability. i have a prominent 4th house, which tops the grand trine in my chart.

@elisa I value stability too. Saturn in the 4th, and Taurus IC. My partner and I got our first house when I was going through my Saturn return.

It sounds like it was a nice experience living in a hut, and living off the land. Although it would not always be easy, I can certainly see the romance associated with this lifestyle 🙂.

Love to read everyone's responses, thanks so much guys! I have a Sag IC, with moon conjunct Uranus in natal chart. I grew up in a traditional home, but left & moved around, at the time when Tr. Pluto crossed my IC. Been that way ever since. At this point, communal living comes the easiest to me.

Ik, kind of an odd statement from someone with 2 earth stelliums, but there you go Smile
