Candela--I would agree on that note. But I don't think it's something American men like to talk about much themselves. Women having a low libido is still considered normal in many circles of American's I've been exposed to. Where as in other countries this does not exist, nor is it a problem.
And I would agree with how Nutsy put it. I've also known of couples that have become so close that they see each other as family, and even like siblings. And their sex drive dies off, as I think we're wired to avoid incest instinctively. When they encounter someone that is definitely not family, or think of their spouse as not a relative the levels of testosterone seem to rise. That makes sense to me in some ways too.
Just my thoughts on it. : )
Partners with mismatched sex drives seems very common.
@kr- I totally agree with your statement about people needing to be more open about sex, more accepting of it. I think if that was the case we'd see lower crime rates when it came to rape, and many other things! Just my opinion.
Blood pressure pills and antidepressants can put the kill switch on a sex life. Diabetes as well...
I have been learning that libido/desire and the penis have very little to do with each other.... Very 8th house? Both lit up at the moment.
well, there are um, other compensatory skills....
