Also, jealousy and competition can be very volatile, disruptive, obsessive, and intense in this relationship.

My composite with Psycho SIL (of all people) has this.  Her mission from Day One was to outdo me.

With aspects that intense, it's love or hate at first sight, nothing in the middle.  (Of course, when your last interaction ends in a near decking and a spite call to CPS, stay the eff away from each other.  )

Mars conjunct Pluto in Scorpio: oh my God, oh my God, oh my God! I swear, I didn't know I had this combo with my former employer, until I saw the replies in the thread, which urged me to check where his Mars was. Bingo! He was the Mars, I was the Pluto, and his Mars was conjunct my Moon.

It started as a union of the minds and ended as a miserable hell. When we collaborated, we were a duo (I became his "right hand" very quickly) to be reckoned with, but his incessant demands started to wear my patience thin (he had Saturn in Libra square my Sun/Merc in Cancer and Capricorn Asc, after all). Weirdly enough, even though he was not my type and I wouldn't in my right mind develop a personal relationship with any employer, the atmosphere was so electric, things could get weird at any given moment. He looked up to me and I've heard through the grapevine that despite my rather ugly resignation, he still says good things about me (his Jupiter conjuncts my Moon). However, neither I nor he would work with each other again. It took me years to overcome the notion "if only I'd done things differently". 

Moral of the story: Mars conj Pluto is all or nothing. It can be extremely good and/or extremely bad. If you have this combo with someone, work together, unite your powers and nothing will stop you. Please, if possible, don't turn your swords against each other, it can be worse than Cain and Abel!
