To make an incredibly long story short, I am certainly nothing to ride home about. I am average, and like many average people, I am okay with being average. I am not often envied. However, I have two individuals in my life who are painfully jealous of me, and it's so obvious, that it makes me cringe. I don't think they know I can see it. I mean, anyone could! They have been in my life for quite sometime. Their thinly veiled defense mechanisms make me terribly uncomfortable! These two people both have their Saturn conjunct my Mars at a 1 degree orb. I seem to know my stuff in areas they lack knowledge in completely. Instead of caring to learn, they put me down. I mean, REALLY put me down. Their cutting remarks reflect sheer intimidation. 

I personally believe there is nothing that creates envy like Mars-Saturn or Sun-Saturn. Saturn is envious of the "light" Sun or Mars has. Thoughts?  

I have Mars-Saturn in Leo (8th House) conjunct Pluto (7th House) squaring my Sun-Merc in Scorpio (10th House) with Chiron in the 10th out of orb. Your personal belief fits me. It's something I cringe from, so this admission is difficult. But so potent at this time. My Scorpio nature is very protective especially so since diagnosed with Environmental Illness (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities) nine years ago, there are limits to how close I can get to others without becoming very sick; and when I see others socializing I am envious and jealous of that 'privilege.'

I recognize that my present sensitivities began long ago, and though these aspects of Mars and Saturn might be an easy explanation, your perspective is oddly comforting because it gives me something to chew other than angst and judgement.

Wow, guys. I did not expect such helpful, and positive feedback. Thank you so much for the love. Right now, transit Saturn is squaring my natal Venus, and almost squaring my natal Saturn (I just turned 20)! It has been tough! This made me feel great. My first house Sun appreciates it!

not sure what else I could add, other than my agreeing with that I think jealousy is more a personal issue people have as opposed to something activated by a connection in synastry...BUT...as someone prone to jealousy myself (yes, I'm highly insecure), I know that certain placements in synastry have aggravated my tendencies, while others seem to minimize them.

No Jealousy with us... our relationship is peaceful.

 

My ex best friend... he was very jealous of me and tried to trigger me so I would be jealous of him...

I don't think it was the synastry in ours... but him not being able to handle his own Pluto in his 7th house. power plays, mental and emotional mind games 24/7.

Fascinating, all this stuff about Mars and Saturn!

The person who is most jealous of me - is also jealous of almost every other woman she has ever met.

Her OWN Mars is conjunct her Saturn (25min orb) on her 7th house cusp.

There's a side of me that feels compassion for her because she is so unhappy.

But there's another side of me that feels angry for her victims: for the last 50 years, she has spoiled numberless relationships. She is very plausible and somehow manages to turn intelligent, loving people against each other. Seldom to the point of actually breaking their bond, just sowing dissension and causing strife.

Her Mars/Saturn is on my Uranus.

Her Uranus is on my Mars.

My relationship was one that foundered. My fault, because my own insecurity all those years ago caused me to stop believing in my then-husband.

Her Pluto/North Node is on my Pluto as well. And there are several other links between our charts that spell bad news. 

What gets me is that she knows about karma.
