What are the characteristics of having an 8th house Uranus placement? Any stories from those of you with this on your chart?
I have a friend with this placement and I'm trying to figure out if it applies to anything he's told me. I know he's pretty psychic, sees ghosts and has clairvoyant dreams. Other than that, not sure.
Ok, I’ll try and remember what I originally wrote and put it in point form.
- can receive flashes of insight/intuition in the knick of time to solve tricky problems
- paranormal topics fascinate. Always seem to be hearing about other’s ghostly experiences, even at hairdressers. Have experienced unexplained phenomena
- mine touches Jupiter in the 11th, so no matter where I go, I often bump into someone I know
- Love positive change. Good at transformation.
-produce stockpiles at supermarket often fall if I walk past them. Sounds weird, but it’s happened that often I can’t dismiss it
- our bodies are electrical so some of us may find this energy interfere in devices operating. I think Uranus here, increases this tendency. No cell phone operates consistently well in my hands and I go through many light globes and batteries
-witnessed much crisis/drama just going about my everyday business. I try and forget this as it’s too negative to recall.

These two sound like my friend. He's suddenly come up with solutions out of the blue to fix a computer problem he's stumped on.
When I hung out with him on Saturday, we were in a conversation about horror books. He said he was reading The Amityville Horror and ended up having to make sure the house was locked up and it didn't help that he thinks his house is haunted. I had tell him his house was haunted because I've felt somebody watching me in the hallway when I've stood in his bedroom doorway and have heard phantom footsteps come up the stairs right after he had headed down them to smoke a cigarette one night. He agreed about the hallway and thought it was from the closet that is next to his room, which I agree on as well. The feeling comes and goes and I don't feel everytime I'm there.
I think my paranormal sensitivities come from my Scorpio ASC. I also have Jupiter in the 8th house as well.

Uranus in the 8th means for some people, maybe not you, the place you think is solid is not.
You will feel like an insider one moment and be an outsider the next. I suppose it means we are the change agents.
