I absolutely adore him and have for a long time! It's cool that he's getting more of the recognition he deserves. He sounds like an amazing human being, and he is so handsome I can't even.
I was recently looking at this chart too, wondering what caused this sudden hightening of interest because he has been around for a long time…
I seriously think it's the Pluto opposition to his Venus/Mars in Cancer planets. It's upping his sex appeal.
I also think those John Wick movies helped put his name out there again and made him appeal to a wide audience.
I have watched many interviews with him… He is so humble, kind, quirky. 
You definitely see that Virgo Uranus rising. He is a little awkward but in a totally sweet understated way. There's also his Pluto 1st house which makes him secretive, mysterious and mesmerizing, with all his Virgo to boot, even more private and introverted.

I'm going to have to give a strong shout out to Speed. It was one of his firsts (I think?), and the first movie of his that I saw. Yep, he's awesome.
He got recognition for that telephone booth movie in 1989, I forgot the name of it.
Speed (1994) helped elevate his career up even higher.
