I definitely see family karma. Also collective karma. All of life is happening in our being so I dont see how we can be separated from any of that.

My heart still hurts from some of the things I've been through with them. You never truly get over it, you just learn to deal with it, wish them luck, and sometimes you have to separate yourself from them.

Some people are like sharks, it's their nature, they can't help themselves, at least not 100%, but you still need to protect yourself from them.

This is a potent topic right now, with the final phases of Pluto in Capricorn in play (Moon is in Cancer this weekend too).

I was thinking about this yesterday, how our beliefs are inherited, and so deeply entrenched in our identities, which are formed in a family system, that much is unconscious. Our beliefs shape our manifest reality, so it's necessary to gain awareness of where we are simply accepting something to be true (being immersed in something to the point you don't know you're immersed) when in fact it is someone else's vision and you are just spinning it over and over.

It can take a lifetime to get clear about what is stemming from your inherited identity and what is true for you at source (soul). Then you can start working with your true vision and manifesting that. This is made more difficult by the fact we are also interwoven into a wider society and collective and one must ultimately go against very powerful group belief systems too, and deal with relationships to people who wish to remain "in place". Guilt is a big factor which glues us all together and maintains the status quo, but really it is a misguided or distorted sense of "love". Also with each step towards freedom there is a lot of grief including deep sadness, despair and rage - people staying put in the old visions is mostly due to not wanting to unearth the grief of generations. This stance of "not wanting to feel" leads to denial. Chronic self destructiveness must also be resolved, working out who is responsible for what and not just carrying a sense of responsibility out of a sense of duty/distorted love, to protect the failings of others. These emotions must all be borne and negotiated to break free.

Pluto in Capricorn helps loosen up and even destroy the deep emotional and often unconscious bondage (ties that bind) to these inherited belief systems. It's really worth doing the hard work now in order to make the most of the liberation possible with Pluto entering Aquarius. Feeling resistance and fear regarding the promptings of your true self and change is a good sign, very uncomfortable, but mustn't be given in too.
