Poor Virgo gets a bad rap lots of times. Who else would make sure the final products going out into the world would be something you can be proud of? Typos? Virgo won't make you cringe every time you see that typo after the fact! Well, Virgo would cringe FOR you, but they will make sure it's fixed before it leaves your hands. Annoying? Yes. But they do the work and you're happy afterwards. Try to teach them to pick their battles, though. An extra exclamation point is not something to go to war over!!!!!!!!! Let them dig into the differences among they're/there/their, instead.

Is your Mercury in Virgo? Is it in the 6th house? How do you think, or rather stop thinking? Tell us about your Mercury! (I remembered tags this time, guys!)

I have an extensive experience with Mercury in Virgo people : ) What I have noticed is that they're extra careful when they communicate, whether or not they're aware of it. It's like there is always some kind of mental process, conscious or unconscious, that preceeds their speech. They're also very polite, no swear-words, insults or bad-mouthing on their behalf. They DO NOT SPEAK ILL of others. Not intentionally, at least. This is great!

I have a Virgo Mercury Rx, about to turn direct. I prefer written communication, because I can always edit what I've written down, but not what I've said. Also, I probably would have been a very good mechanic. I found this out at my first real job, where we had a copy machine that seriously needed to be replaced to begin with. I just developed a "relationship" with that machine. "Trouble shooting" is the part of my current job that I enjoyed the most. Too bad that got taken away from us. Another Libra Sun/Virgo Mercury co-worker went to work at a department that's now doing exactly this, and I may follow soon.

I speak with a lot of discretion most of the time. I'm always thinking more than I'm saying, and if I think what I have to say will come out as excessively rude or ill-informed, I will edit myself. With Mercury in Virgo, you really want to be correct when you speak, so I also try not to talk about subjects about which I have no knowledge.

I remember my friend in college with this who is a sun virgo too,  has the most beautiful neat handwriting ever! I always noticed that. Of course she is also very organized and smart,  as expected.

My mom was Mercury in Virgo, conjunct Sun. She was very precise and smart as a whip. My dad's smart, but kinda out to lunch (Sun and Mercury in Pisces). Mom loved to read, quick-witted, really funny in a cerebral way, good memory, had an absolute fascination for science and medicine.

Neat freak and well-mannered. When I was a kid in the 80s, her friend next door (Sag) told all the kids on the block to call her by her first name. My Virgo mom was not about to do that and didn't like being put in the position of seeming "uncool" by not doing it. People always said how polite my siblings and I were, but Mom wouldn't have it any other way. She'd just stare at you until you started writing that thank you note. This is all on her; her brother's a nice guy but he's got no manners at all.
