Well. I did tell you that while it lasted, it was a close-friends-ship.
About friendships, as every close type of relationships.. Yes, both/all participants are affected by those relationships. Astrology is about real life.... not next door to it.

In regards to the eighth house, resources means anything belonging to the other/another person or people. Money, material possessions, energy, etc. Anything that did not originate with you, but with them.
