Progressed moon chasing Saturn

I remember reading somewhere in this site about progressed moon perennially chasing transiting Saturn (both take 2 and a half year to change sign), but couldn't locate that page now. Just realized that this has been happening to me forever. I have a Capricorn moon too, in natal chart. Seems like I'd never know how it feels NOT to have Saturn on your moon.

Does this cycle ever stop? Anyone else have it? How was your Saturn return, in that case?

Thanks! Smile

I might be the one who started that old thread -- I've had it for over fifteen years.  Before it started, my first Saturn return was great -- I got married, started a new career.  Second Saturn Return a couple years ago, not much other than ongoing frustration and indecision.

Mine looks like it might start easing off in about ten years, if I live that long!

It seems to have started around the time my Progressed Moon was opposite natal Saturn, and Neptune was transiting conjunct my natal Pholus having just passed my natal Chiron.  It will ease off with my Progressed Moon on Progressed ASC opposing natal Saturn which will have progressed to DSC, Nodal Axis progressed to IC/MC and transiting Pluto on my Pholus having just passed Chiron.  Progressed Moon, Mars, and Pluto will form a Grand Trine -- 12th, 9th, 5th.  Progressed Sun will be on natal Sun/Moon midpoint.  Not sure if any of this is significant.

Really would like to think of Saturn (my chart and NN ruler) as being a stern but wise teacher who will let up on the pain if I can just learn whatever it is he's trying to teach me...

Check this out: Saturn Chasing The Moon - The Sisyphus Syndrome

"The opposition of Saturn/Moon feels as if someone “out there” is denying you anything and everything you need in order to feel secure."

"The mind-body connection is never so obvious. Saturn’s deep meaning is to stop looking for validation anywhere outside yourself. There will be no authority figure, parental figure, or partner that will give you permission to put the boulder down. You have to make the decision yourself. It’s an inside job."

"You know who your true friends are, and most of all, you now know how to be a friend to yourself. This is the alchemical Gold of Saturn."

Moon-Saturn opposition here. This is one of the best spins on that configuration I've read. Good to know that my progressed Moon is no longer opposing transit Saturn. I'm on my way to progressed Moon-transit Saturn trine around 2030 now, yay!
