Saturn Transiting 4th House is Lonely

This has been a somewhat depressing transit for me. I had to move to an area I really hate and where I have had a hard time making friends and having a social life.

It has been extremely lonely since I had to move from a big city to a small town, I had to do it for practical reasons but I'm hoping when Saturn leaves my 4th I'll be able to relocate.

Can anyone share their experience with this transit?

I have saturn transiting my 4th house now.  I also have pluto transiting my 4th house at the same time.  For me this has just been an extreme version of what life was like before these transits as I live on my pluto line.  I have never been able to have any kind of relationship friendship or otherwise.  I am the black sheep in my family and an outcast socially.  And it affects all areas of my life.  I just accept it.

For you, know that it is just a transit and it will pass. Depending on your new location's astrocartography there may be some nice places where you can hang out. Or maybe you may need to plan for some daytrips.  Or hang out in your city with a more international crowd.

I went through the double whammy like Oshun.

Indeed I was lonely.

I also moved. I moved over a thousand miles away from home and knew no one ...and I was stuck at home so I couldn't even meet anyone at a job. My neighbors were a mixed bunch....elderly, couple of single moms.

I sat and stared at the ocean every day. Most people would like that. All I can say is that is a big body of water for a little person to stare at alone.

Yes, I was lonely. Probably the loneliest I have ever been. Hang on and try to learn something from it. It will pass. You will be better for it.

Saturn transiting my 4th house was the loneliest period of my life. I had moved to a different city and didn't know anyone. Surrounded by people but didn't fit in at all. I remember feeling completely hopeless.

When the transit passed I moved to a different apartment and things gradually improved.

I also have this transit right now together with Pluto, of course. I have Pluto-Saturn conjunction as natal aspect in the 1 house, the pressure is beyond words. I feel deep to my bones the loneliness and hopelessness...

I spend a lot of time at home with myself... and keep digging

I started to go through a therapy... as I really felt I can't deal with all of this by myself. I take this transit as an opportunity to find and heal some deep issues I have and carry with me... I'm also taking more care of myself in terms of relaxation therapies and reading a lot of spiritual books. It brings some ease... to the inner turmoil. And the therapy really helps me bring some light and clarity...

Like you, I also want to relocate... I am determined to do this next year and I am also determined to risk it all because where I am now I am not happy. At least, try it... I feel tied down and unwell in this place/ city... I want to move near the sea...

I tell myself every day: it will pass... and it will.

Hang on there, everyone heart

I actually am ok with Saturn.  It provides structure.  It is restrictive, but you know what you are dealing with. And if you pass the test you get a reward at the end.

It's Pluto pulling the rug out from under me, feeling persecuted, dealing with violence - intensity/upheaval on 10 all the damned time that is really grinding me down.

I have a different perspective on lonely - I don't can't trust the people around me so being alone is not a bad thing for me.

But for the OP it seems this is challenging.  So maybe come up with some short term solutions until you can relocate. Or learn the lesson and get the Saturn reward. Saturn is about responsibility and hard work.
