Seems like it would be dangerous in some way to express self for a Venus square Pluto, and Pluto's house is where the danger would be coming from.

I have Venus CONJUNCT Pluto. Love and sexuality go hand in hand for me. In many complex ways. This is in my 7th house, a perfect location for such a coupling.

But Uranus is also there, real close (in 7H). So my V-P manifestations are often eccentric, in the sense of outside the norm, outside the box, 'different'.

With Uranus involved, my Venus-Pluto also seeks matings with a 'in this world but not of this world' flavor.

I love my Venus-Pluto conjunction. It is one of the great blessings of my chart.
