Yes,I just responded to a post where I thought Mars in a stressful aspect to Saturn or Uranus could be just as deadly as Mars in hard aspect to Pluto or deadlier.

Uranus is just so unpredictable, that a person with Uranus hard aspect to Mars when angry is capable of anything because it is so unpredictable.

Saturn is more so reserved, but I look at that as the "Incredible Hulk" because they will be a bit reserved but when they blow all of the frustrations they have been holding onto finally unleash.

Pluto in the first also could make one have a violent temper.

Your grandmother sounds like a tough cookie!

She was a tough one, but whenever I was sick, she would stay up all night with me and take care of me and when most people want their mother, I always wanted my grandmother. She had a calming influence over me and I really miss her.

And yes Pluto does make for a violent temper. I am guilty of that. I have Pluto conjunct my Sun on one side and Uranus conjunct my Sun from the other side. And in the Equal and Koch system charts this is in my 8th house. I think I got my grandmother's temper. It scares me, because when I am past the point of true rage, I am fearful of what could happen. Of course, when I am enraged, I don't care what does happen. I try to isolate myself when I start feeling angry. I can see why you think of the Incredible Hulk. It fits.

Reading about the Moon in your comments, I can see that with me. I have Gemini Moon squaring my Virgo Sun, Mercury, Mars, and Pluto and I yell/write when I am really angry. The all caps gets used when I am furious.

My mother has Uranus and Moon in Cancer Rising and opposite her Capricorn Sun, Mercury, and Venus. She has Mars in Aquarius in her 8th house too. She used to be so moody and when she lost her temper she would throw things and break nearly everything. I made up my mind that I would not throw things when I get mad. But as I said, I either yell/write/type out my fury.

The Sun square or opposition to Mars endows the person with an abundance of energy, the faculty of leadership, but they are turned to purposes of deviltry and destruction; the courage implanted by the good aspects becomes foolhardiness and the person has a loud, overbearing, swaggering manner and is ready to fight at the drop of a hat; he is always in opposition to the constituted authority and ready to rebel wherever he sees a chance, he has an extremely fiery temper but holds not resentment. On account of these qualities he is universally disliked by both employees and his fellow workers, always in hot water and never stays long in any place for he is an agitator and trouble maker. These aspects also dispose to accidents in which the person may be maimed, to gunshot and knife-wounds, also to scalding, fevers, and inflammatory complaints, boils and eruptions

My father in law and sister in law have this aspect and they can be very difficult to deal with. They fight with each other like cats and dogs because they are so much alike. Both are braggarts and can't stand anyone whom might think they are better than them. They do not like authority figures and they don't like famous people because they are jealous of their status. I could write a book about the things that they do and have done. He is a Libra and she is an Aries and if they are around each other with others around, they will get into fist fights. Crazy! He was a Marine and he loves anything military. I am sure he has Aries Rising, he and his frat twin which he hates both went into the military the other one was in the USAF and like I said my father in law became a Marine. The brothers competed at everything too. The twins have Libra Sun with Mars in Capricorn and Uranus in Cancer. They don't get along with anyone for long. And my sister in law has an Aries Sun, Mars with Pluto in Libra. And yes, it can be really bad.

I guess every family has the in laws that are more like outlaws. kiss

with mars/saturn for me, for the longest time i was actually incapable of expressing anger. i could feel it but it was super blocked and instead i acted passive-aggressive. this is why i wonder if mars/saturn can indicate this type of thing, passive-agressiveness...

its actually on this blog that i learned about passive-agressiveness and how bad it is and recognized it within my self, wanting to change. i have a lot of libra and mars rules my descendant so it was more projected energy on my end.

my dad has lots of anger problems growing up he terrified me, he could get violent. he's the cancer mars square aries moon. pluto conjunct saturn (his chart ruler)in the 8th house in leo. we were to remain 'pleasant' at all times to not provoke him. not allowed to express even dissatisfaction. it simmers and simmers... until it turned to depression and self-destructiveness.  pluto in the 1st house can be self-destructive too.

i like how you mention writting tonya. this is the least destructive release i have found to rid of negativity. some people mention physical exercise too, im sure that helps.

Yes heavy negative Pluto in the chart can make one volatile for sure.

And yes the Mars square Saturn is repressed repressed repressed until BOOM! It lets it all out, which could be a serious problem, that's why Mars square Saturn people have to find an outlet for that negative energy and not let it build up

Yes,Moon and Mercury plays a role in anger.

Moon= How we get mad

Mercury= How we think when mad

Mars= What we do about the anger

So they all play a huge role in one's anger
