I dehydrated some tomatoes last night.

And I puréed the pumpkin this morning. Three pounds are in the freezer and the rest is on its way to soup. I’m going to add the milk and immersion blend it later, after mowing the lawn.

While the husband and I are from the north and do not sound like these folks in any way, we act like them (together) this is a Pisces husband with a water sign wife who are crazy about each other. She is my favorite. She was abused for years and to get better she started flirting with herself in the camera and said, no one is looking .... but soon, everyone was. She met and married that Pisces and her whole life changed. She is loved! She is a darlin'! I live in an area where everyone sounds like this now. I am the oddball. I love her little cooking channel. And her TikTok's. She was called fat and all kinds of things... all I see is that she is truly adorable.

Anyway, they remind me of me and the Pisces in the kitchen. Imagine two people that worked corporate all their lives and talk like they lived in Chicago 🤣 but look at each other the exact same way. Accent doesn't matter but the love in that food does. My Taurus moon fed my people every chance I got. And I used a lot of vanilla and butter 😊

@soup I was thinking the same. I have a favorite recipe where I use squash as the base and I have many available (pumpkin works, too). Husband is traveling a little next week so maybe when he gets back.

@soup Nice! I will have to try that. I could make it a spin on recipe I make with butternut squash and pork sausage, but use spaghetti squash instead!

Posting under “cooking” because I’m going to bake this spaghetti squash and have it with pheasant for dinner. The squash is ours but from the property. And the pheasant is from there, too (not this season, obviously).

I picked up a bunch of phyllo dough today. I have never made, baklava or spanakopita but plan to make both.  I'm going to try this recipe, first.

All these posts are making me hungry and really looking forward to autumn!

My pain levels are pretty high and I'm tired so I'm cheating a bit by making easy garlic chicken with broccoli, peas and truffle-buttered baby new potatoes. It's pretty chilly here (uk), so I just want healthy-ish comfort food.

@plutolover  That sounds tasty. Chilly here too. Having Lasagna served on bed of garden salad, accompanied with garlic and herb sourdough (comforting).

@hades-moon oh yum, I adore lasagna, I would eat it a lot more often except my family don't like it so much (heathens 😆 ).
