Question for city people

I'm off the phone with a city gal, born in the city (D.C).  She had several violent verbal encounter over the course of two days.  She handled these attacks ("You fat bitch") with aplomb. Like in that instance she instructed the young men to pull their pants up. She has an authoritative voice and Saturn rising in Aries.

She ran through the other instances, I felt kind of woozy.  What's happened to her over these days would have really run me down and scared me. I think this is true for a lot of women. I'm thinking of my clients... "I'm not leaving the house until, Mars Pluto /election or whatever..."

As we continued to talk, I realized or rather, she realized that I am living is peaceful and polite group of towns.  She can deal with this; it's her element?  But not really.  She's a Libra, for example and I know her to be massively competent, but also sensitive.  She needs to shut down and rest, at times, and it's non-negotiable.

She pretty much told me this is how it is.  Everyone is rude and aggressive, everyone thinks they're right, it's the other guy's fault and such...

This really twisted in my head.  I did live in Denver for many years and did not experience.  Not sure it is a city or a big cow-town, though.  So if you city people don't mind, could you tell me what it's like, to walk the streets of your city?

Thank you.
