Pluto will ingress into Aquarius in the afternoon on November 19th, 2024. This transition looks to be both stressed and stable.
Stressed, because Pluto will be opposing the moon and Mars. Stable, because Uranus and Neptune offer support to Pluto.
Further, Pluto will be the focal point of a Kite when it changes signs. You can see what this looks like here.
Note the moon will not ingress into Leo until the following morning. It will oppose Pluto, exactly, two minutes later. I’m thinking this is a stable but seismic shift, which we feel overnight, or perhaps upon waking, on November 20th.
This energy is familiar to me, as both my parents have profoundly strong Uranus/Pluto signatures. It’s reads as fast, drastic change. Sudden death of whatever. Power (Pluto) makes it’s own rules (Uranus).
I’ve been writing about Pluto in Aquarius for nine years, already. My position on this is clear. See: Pluto in Aquarius.
What do you think? Thumbs up or down on Pluto in Aquarius?
I’ve been looking forward to this – and now all of a sudden I am a bit apprehensive. not scared but alert…probably its because my Aquarius Son is feeling so bad, whether it’s the new meds side-effects or a flare-up of the MS or whatever, he looks like a ghost – and feels like it too. His Uranus sits on 29 Scorpio and his South Node in early Aquarius… this can go either way for him, its Pluto. As if all those years with Pluto through the 4th were not crap enough… sigh. Its happening anyway, so thumb is up, Elsa. Making the best of it, whatever comes my way…
I´m hoping for a release from the oppresive Pluto in Capricorn energy, which felt soooo heavy. I expect things to be a bit rocky, but at least they will start moving. Pluto in Capricorn felt like inprisonment.
I agree – I’m ready to get out of prison as well.
I just want to know already. Do I keep the armor to shield me from the shit storm waiting to hail down , or can I breathe a bit in the void? The air is crushing either way at the moment.
feel that sense of apprehension here, too.
we’re opting for kevlar, lighter and breathes better
I continue to be an adventurous adventuress. When Pluto moves sign I will be living my newest solar return in Scorpio with a Progressed Sun more firmly in Aquarius. Pluto half’s my 1st House — between Capricorn and Aquarius. So I invest in a solid (Capricorn) Independent kupuna (crone-grandmother-elder woman) grateful for the journey and my grandchildren 👍🏽
From one Saturn ruled sign to the other.Capricorn puts the screws in and Aquarius takes them out.
Are you saying we’re headed for freedom?
I hope so. Pluto in Capricorn has felt so oppressive. My fear is we may evolving from plutocracy to technocracy.
I have been asked for my “global personal ID” near ten times, already. I say, “whaat?” They say, “Never mind.”
Armstrong’s computer AI, which has studied history exhaustively, and has an excellent batting average with its predictions, thinks the US starts breaking up into smaller countries in 2033….That would be freedom of a sort, or at least more choice over who rules you….
That makes zero sense. So if I’m a person in a state whose politics / laws I don’t like I move? In what reality does that happen? I couldn’t afford to move one county over let alone to another state.
I expect that’s true…if you can’t afford to move, you can’t…But all empires break up, and the American Empire is not going to be an exception to that rule…When, I don’t know…If the next 4 years go well, it may be well down the road….
My natal chart has a Grand Kite (Grand Fire Trine) with Neptune conjunct Ceres and my MC. I have learned that the focal point is essential. The Trine by itself is lazy, but the opposition that forms the Kite suggests how I can channel that fire energy to make a difference in the larger world. Pluto in Capricorn transitted my first (last two decans) and second (first decan) and in the process it conjoined my Chiron and North Node… huge difficult lessons about my identity and self-worth. For what seems like years, Pluto has been squaring my natal Moon (the bottom of my kite), as well as Quincunxing my natal Sun/Mercury/Pluto/Haumea stellium in Leo. I am a little intimidated by the future – when Pluto opposes my Sun stellium. Uranus is semi-sextile my Sun stellium… Lately, I have been grateful for my decades of lived experience combined with my growing knowledge of astrology. No matter how challenging the aspect, I remind myself… this too will pass.
👍 Time to move on. Each time Pluto moved into Aquarius in 2023 and 2024, many of my friends and family moved on to the other side. I’m sure it will occur again as I’m in my late 60s. I’m looking forward to the future as it unfolds, because every day has been a surprise as Pluto takes it’s last gasps in Capricorn. As a triple Aquarius, I’m sure it’s going to get very interesting.
I really wish this time Pluto gives power to societies and puts more emphasis in authenticity and spirit. Pluto in Capricorn has turn the world too materialistic too status obsessed and gave the global oligarchy a lot of power over the masses. I really wish it can restore balance between spirit and matter and not go into extremes. We really need this
Elsa: How do you figure Uranus and Neptune support the Pluto ingress into Aquarius? Uranus is in Taurus, which squares Aquarius. Neptune is still in Pisces. I get that it is close to 0 Aries (which sextiles Aquarius) but a near-sextile from Pisces is still quite different (and less supportive) than from a sextile in Aries.
It’s because it’s an sextile aspect – out of sign. I feel this alliance is helping us quite a bit.
