Interesting, I hadn't thought of neptune but now that you all mention it, it does makes sense.... neptune creates that sense of uncertainty which in turns fuels the paranoia. I have neptune-mercury in hard aspect, with mercury in the 12th, I can definitely vouch for that!

I have Neptune in Libra H1 square Mercury, and I have every reason to be paranoid hahaha - esp as my Neptune also sextiles Pluto and trines Uranus 😉

I frequently get chastised by my family for being too suspicious of everything. Third House cusp in Scorpio containing Scorp Venus/Pluto. Saturn opposite Moon too can make me weary, especially from "well meaning authorities".
