Today I learned that some good planning and preparation helped some family members. The kids had everything set to take the granddaughters to Disney tomorrow but their dog started acting funny and confused yesterday. They took her to the vet and it was discovered she’d had a stroke. So she is at the vet’s for a few days getting treatment that is said to be highly effective to get her back to, not pre stroke, but so she can function.

We were supposed to dog sit this week and I can’t imagine the worry it would have caused if it had happened while they were away.

So I know others are having awful experiences now but the girls are 7 and 3, they are disappointed in the trip delayed, and worried about their dog, who’s been around since before they were born.

The kids did get some travel insurance so they are rescheduling. So that is a big help because these trips are very costly. To help cheer up the 7 year old, we plan to take her to the science museum tomorrow, as she doesn’t have school (Election Day). She thinks the sun rises and sets on my husband ❤️.

I can see the eclipse happening now! We are lucky to have a clear sky.

@allie120 So exciting that you can see it! I'm a Taurus Sun (though late degrees) and I'm really feeling it. I feel wobbly yet strong at the same time. It's like being on a boat with choppy waters. My chakras are also really feeling active, especially throat and heart.

This eclipse takes place on my husbands Moon/Venus opposition :/ Trying to pack up his childhood home for sale. Very difficult.

@jana That is very hard. Overwhelming and emotional.

Watching the eclipse. It’s not quite total at my location, but nicely red orange with a white lip.

A look at my chart with the eclipse shows several quintiles. Interesting. It’s in my first house on my Ascendant Jupiter conjunction.

We were able to see it start to happen very early in the morning (I think we each got up at different times to check). Then when we got up at 5 am as usual, it was just a sliver left, then completely covered it. It wasn’t red or anything, more brown red. We have a hill with houses in the front of our house so it dipped behind all that and couldn’t see anything. Dawn was breaking. I’m glad we had the opportunity
