Does Chiron rule Virgo?

Do you think Chiron rules (or co-rules) Virgo? Virgo is most definitely the healer of the zodiac, the nurse, using the Earth element for medicinal purposes- it wants to maintain and improve the body. The 6th house is the house of health and wellbeing. Virgo’s can be crippled with self-doubt, anxiety and overly high standards (Chiron’s wound) and the 6th house is the house of stress (again, the healer who sacrifices their own wellbeing working themselves to the bone for others). Also Chiron tends to work from behind the scenes, promoting others above itself- very much like Virgo, the servant.

Mercury brings the technical, industrious, analytical side of Virgo- but that could be because it’s the sign of Mercury's exaltation, not necessarily it’s ruler.

What do you think? I’m undecided to be honest, but Chiron undoubtably has a very strong connection to Virgo energy whatever the case.

No. The signs are ruled by planets.

Yes, its possible. Also Vesta is associated with Virgo. She is associated with the Vestal virgins of ancient Rome...the keepers of the sacred fire which was their job. Vesta has to do with work, purity, and service among other things which are related to Virgo.  I personally have Vesta conjunct Mars and even though I am a Pisces I do have a distinct Virgoan way of getting things done.

But Chiron, I can see it having things in common with Virgo, yes.  I am undecided on it ruling Virgo too though.

The "rainbow bridge" concept was very interesting to read.

It would be awesome if Taurus and Virgo had their own ruling planets, instead of sharing it with Gemini and Libra.

I don't see Virgo as a centaur. Didn't Virgo come from the vestal virgins?
