I have a massive number of planets in Capricorn, so I am getting used to the feeling of battening the hatches with so many transits coming my way/currently gracing me with their presence.
I have a particular query regarding transiting nodes though. Are they a thing? Currently, my chart ruler Mercury is in a TIGHT conjunction with transiting South node. Applying traditional astrology keywords, I can think of news of karmic chickens coming home to roost. But nothing significant is happening. If anything, everything in work and life is extremely slow.
Am I missing the big picture? Or is this not that a huge thing? I think nodes move very very slowly and should have similar effect to outer planets at least, if not more?
Well phrased "karmic chickens home to roost". Except we probably will not see the full picture till after Jan 2020's conjunction of Saturn and Pluto in Cap.
In other words, the chickens will likely arrive one at a time, some with a big bang (Solar and Lunar Eclipses), some with an entourage (Jupiter in Cap), some wise with knowledge (Saturn in Cap), and others with warrior skills (Pluto in Cap).
My chart is particularly sensitive to the Nodes at 17 deg. So, I am paying attention to the small things or things that seemingly affect others, that may build to something meaningful for me down the line.
No big bangs noted for the two eclipses/new moons I was tracking for this year... Jan and July.
Now, watching out for July 16th. I have natally 4 planets and a vertex in Cap. So, maybe I am immune to heavy duty stuff?
I don't know about immunity. Not sure anyone will be immune, there's just way too many once in our life time events happening in our cosmos and the 19/20 eclipse season only just started. Jupiter hasn't hit Cap yet, also the heftty Saturn-Pluto conjunction is still coming.
So, either your chickens are operating in stealth mode, like ninjas, undetected until it happens or they plan to parachute-in together in December?! Kinda like a mob mentality.
Astrological mob! There is a comforting thought! Unless I have some massive karma from past life to burn, I have never knowingly hurt anyone in this lifetime, and been super responsible till date. Let's see what comes up.
Jokes apart, you are on to something. Since Pluto and Saturn transits will be on my moon, maybe the changes are all internal. However, my point was that I feel a bit better now that the transit degrees are getting closer as opposed to end of last year/beginning this year, when shit hit the fan!
And I am actually looking forward to Nov/Dec. I have heard such great stories of Jupiter conjunct natal Venus. And this will be in my 5th house. So a much planned-for baby/book deal/revamped sense of romance? And accompanied by massive responsibility (BABY), overwork (full time job + writing) and managing partner's wild emotions?
I am curious if Pluto/Saturn transits happen on more external parts of chart (Sun/Ascendent), does it feel different? I know someone who is going through a Pluto square Sun AND a Pluto opposite Moon +Jupiter all together. Not even counting there Saturn transits. Sun in 10th and Moon/Jupiter in 12th. Lord knows how they are coping up, though the external face is strong and undeterred.
Also just wanted to drop a separate line on how awesome I find some of your posts on the Forum. Have recently joined, but been reading in stealth mode for a few months.
