I read that 98% of day traders lose money. I suspect this is true.

Are you a gambler?  Jupiter / 5th or 9th house / Leo the first things that pop into my mind, astrologically.

How do you feel about gambling? Does anyone have what they would call a "gambling problem"?

although i have sagittarius and 9th house i dont like gambling and i actually have FEAR i will lose money lol i dont like gambling at all. Me and my husband and many of my family members have gone to Las Vegas and have enjoyed some of the events there, such as concerts and David Copperfield magic type of performances too. And many seniors love gambling there.  My mother in law has this fear too of losing her money so she shakes her head at those who receive social security and spend their money on slot machines. Well they're enjoying what they want i guess.

My husband used to gamble alot but he was always good with money. He has a Sagittarius stellium too. And he usually wins ALOT and with a big amount, but if i'm with him he stops because i tell him to stop because it's scary and plus we're married and what he loses we both lose ..so basically i can lord over him over that and he stops. *whew* But i also read that when the Scorpio side stops when he puts his mind to it, willpower and can stop. But when he was single and living with his mother, he would gamble after work for fun and win alot. but he spends alot too. He had very extravagant taste(as opposed to me being super cheap on myself that's the capricorn and aquarius speaking too - that side of me is frugal; i know how that energy is .LOL but i can't help myself) we've been married over a decade and he never gambles.

i knew family members who had gambling problems though, and they can't stop even though one was a scorpio sun, who married my uncle, and she would run her family fortune to the ground because of her gambling addictions. So i dont know what happened there; she did have a gambling mother who forced her to gamble with her and help her when she was little. It might have traumatized her. I have other family members who are gamblers after they retired but got scared after realizing they might lose their pension money when they can never win. they just have an UNLUCKY streak. I noticed that with those who have unlucky streaks, they can't stop. 🙁 it's so sad. it's like a drug addict or an alcoholic.

i dont like gambling and taking chances too much in the financial front. Just super scary. (my saturn has alot of that fear) I leave that to my husband. I think this is why i am good with steady working type of work and money that comes in as expected. it's boring but i dont like chances.

I had a good friend with a gambling problem... and drinking... and drugs.

He was a hell of a lot of fun though, ha!

I went to Las Vegas. I took the desert tour to Lake Mead/Hoover Dam. The people I went with were in bed all day. I was the loser that wouldn't gamble a roll of quarters that went to the desert to see wild donkeys.

No lottery tickets. No bingo. None of it. I am so weird about throwing away money.

We give lottery (scratch off) tickets in each others’ stockings at Christmas time. It’s treated like a little gift and everyone has fun seeing who gets the most. And we began doing Yankee swaps at our Christmas Eve Day family party and one person always brings a couple cards.

The neighbor likes to do fantasy football and NASCAR. One year my husband did the NASCAR with him but he ended up not really enjoying it because you have to put your drivers (or players if it’s NFL) by a deadline every week and he really just enjoys watching it without all that.

We live an hour away from two huge casinos here in New England but we don’t like to go to gamble. My MIL liked it and we took her for her birthday two or three times because it was for her. But I never found much fun in the gambling. It was just fun to look at the shops or restaurants. There are other things there, too, like bowling, the Pequot Indian Museum, and of course concerts and shows sometimes.

We always forget to play the lotto. So basically my husband and I don’t. I understand people treat it like an entertainment, occasionally going and having a set amount to spend, treating it like a fun night out. And that’s cool! But we aren’t interested.

I’ve never known anyone with a gambling problem. I can’t even imagine if I had a spouse that had a problem. It would make the whole world so unstable.
