@acerolachip : Ppl at running shoe shops love to give out running tips, if there's one near you. If you're not runner and want to start I would say get good shoes. One that allows your feet to function as feet ought.

@elsa inherently it’s not easy at all! Mars says go especially mars in sag! And Saturn says stop just as drastically! But it does make for a sort of meditative strong inner fire of focus and for me it’s like my desire for justice or what is right is inexhaustible that’s more of a 7th house thing I imagine anyway working with the two energies is for me all about discipline not letting the bow out of the arrow without clarity of purpose when mars in sag sometimes just wants to play darts lol

I possess Mars conjunct Saturn in Scorpio, 4th. Mars opposes my Moon, squares Cap Mercury and Cancer ASC, while Saturn squares my Sun.

My energy and focus is extremely directed. It's akin to being in a loop, and I don't like getting out of it. I've learned recently to stop telling people what I do, or have done, because my services are then requested which means I have to pause the rhythmic loop I am in, and I don't like it, especially if it's for someone I don't respect or have some authoritative issue with.

The conjunction, methinks, can be useful in regards to how you move about in your home and community. I also believe the house and sign placement play a role in how this energy can be expressed.

@darkaquarian I do have it in Scoprio too! Mine is in the 3rd house, so I have to balance what I communicate, sometimes I feel I have to measure it not giving too much information and don't rush too soon in arguments and say something I would later regret... It's difficult sometimes. Like your mars or saturn pull you towards one or the other

the thing is that I have Mars retrograde to in my chart, I think that is also what brings sometimes slow action in me due to fear maybe (saturn) ? When I feel motived enough thought, I feel a lot of energy

@pi84 same here. Lot's of tension will buildup to the point I cannot sleep, and this leads to a release and cathartic experience once I do act, and strongly so.

It's a pattern I now recognize and had to learn to settle into it instead of flailing about as I once had. I listen to my body a lot more as a result also.

My newly adult daughter has Mars + Moon + Saturn all within about 2 degrees in 11H, and an old friend, male, has Mars + Saturn partile conjunct in 1H nestled within Mercury and Chiron (a stellium spanning a mere 4 1/2 deg).

The daughter has had some rather profound emotional challenges, though she is building resiliency. I feel like she is on her way to becoming emotionally self-possessed and disciplined, but I can't sugar-coat the challenges she's faced. These planets are all in Gemini, where Saturn has some triplicity dignity, and they form a sextile with Jupiter.

The friend is highly intelligent, though I think he is somewhat self-conscious about his intelligence. He is fairly self-possessed but compassionate and generous (possibly to a fault? this stellium squares Jupiter after all!). He has had what he's perceived as sexual difficulties (Saturn plus Mars, with, I guess, Saturn cooling or tempering Mars), though some would say that is another aspect of positive Saturn self-control. The Saturn here is very dignified in Aquarius, BTW. He's one of the least selfish people I've met.

Another friend, a woman, was born on the same day, though I don't know her birth data; however in the time I knew her, she exhibited all that positive Mercury+Saturn disciplined intelligence as an accomplished scholar; and I don't know how the Mars+Saturn played out for her, except that she was very diligent (the controlled action of the aspect).

Mars + Saturn is what I would call the "marksman" aspect, though that may depend on the dignity of the planets involved. Aiming at a target, and single-mindedly working toward that goal, not shooting willy-nilly until you hit something.

My husband has Mars (in Taurus) conjunct Saturn (trine moon)

I don't. (I have Mars in Gemini)

We made an appointment to skydive. I jumped. He did not. But he did sit on the bench watching with his face in his hands until my feet hit the ground and then said, you are never doing that again while we are married. He was absolutely miserable watching it. I couldn't wait to do it.

I meant to say he has Mars in Aries conjunct Saturn (Taurus) trine moon (in Cap) His Saturn is in Taurus. At any rate... that is how it goes.

I'm in the front car on the rollercoaster. Arms flying around in the air screaming weeeeeeee.... he is screaming put your arms down and hold on right now. I mean it! He is not a risk taker.

Me: Mars in Gemini Square Pluto. Let's go! Him: OMG stop that.

His mars is stronger than mine. Even though mine is square Pluto. His Mars is boss conjunct Saturn. Stern. Forceful. NO. We will not be doing that.

I often think Taurus gets left out of the discussion when it comes to strength. Mostly thought of as stubborn, lazy even, eats... that is not all there is to Taurus. I wish we talked about Taurus more. I haven't studied the sign like I should even though I have the moon.

Evidence of how he is ... we are in the deep south. Our air conditioning went out night before last. Yesterday he got up and started making calls. Now as a safety precaution he bought 3 window air conditioners when we moved in. New in the box, sitting in the storage room 'just in case' He quickly put them in. The people didn't come yesterday. I mean, it's the deep south. It's 100 degrees. We have to wait in line. ..... Oh no. Not to him. Bet they show up today. You should hear him on the phone right now. Stern. Sounds like the damn school principal handing out discipline haha... none of this bothers me. I am cold when it's 75 degrees. He sounds like big daddy on the phone right now. I am in the kitchen laughing drinking hot coffee. haha I'm just glad he doesn't have that thing pointed at me.... haha

@soup it's very ballsy. I don't think I would skydive myself. I definitely wouldn't today, but I don't think I would do it when I was young either... would not bungee jump either. Ugh, no. I'd pee my pants for sure!

@elsa the energy we walk around in... the differences. It is amazing to watch it play out.

I am going through a brick wall at 100 miles an hour no helmet. Mad talking through it.... all Gemini.

He is driving with the brakes on at all times. 🤣

Truth be told, the man has kept me from getting killed at least 1000 times.

Him: Slow down. Don't touch that. Wear a seatbelt (I always do) Do you have cash in your wallet? It's going to be cool go get a jacket. Did you eat anything? You need to take your.... whatever it is I am supposed to take... antibiotic or whatever. Put an ice bag on that. Take some Tylenol now. The problem is you don't listen HA Those shoes are going to bug you later; I'd put on a different pair. Put on your damn sunscreen.

Me: NO.

Him: if you want me to move at all you damn sure will. (He is not kidding. He can wait me out!)

Me: I do it. 🤣 🤣

@gogol There is no experience like it. But I went up in this rickety plane...I got in. Only benches inside. Like a hollowed-out plane. So loud. And you could smell the gasoline. 😳 Very small. Sounded like a lawn mower.

15K feet UP... so it takes a few minutes. Time to go. They cannot mess around. Flung me out of that thing so fast.... then you go at lightning speed toward the earth. Shoot opens and you just gasp and wish to God you were a bird for a while.

The earth is so peaceful and gorgeous from up there. Forever burned in my brain at the beauty of it all. Life, the earth, all of it. You are reminded of how lucky you are to be alive. You just float down and take it all in. I will never forget it. That rush of adrenaline. The feeling of being fully alive. I did this in my 50's and I knew the window was closing... do it now, or you may not be healthy enough later. My grandies watched me. Of course, Scorpio moon was hysterical LOL she cried the whole damn time. Pisces was as miserable watching as a person could be. But I was flying. And I was thanking God and the universe to be alive. I used those images when Saturn was squaring my moon when I lost my parents and was so down. I kept running that though my mind... GET UP. GET UP.

I highly recommend it to anyone .... just try it one time. I was sure I would not keep taking that risk because of responsibilities... and they have to come first. But that one time... changed my perspective on all of it.

Regardless of what is going on there are things that are breathtakingly beautiful that we should never take for granted.

"Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return."

When I get really cantankerous, I remind myself that there is so much beauty in the world when we look away from the screen. And that is correct.... you will always look up.

Have also skydived and it’s an experience like nothing else 🫠. Was thinking about this conjunction since I have it in my chart and it got me thinking about the order of the planets I have Saturn first then mars so it’s very like slow to go but then go too hard I think for me it’s because both planets are in sag the sort of expansive energy can be a lot with mars there and Saturn too like in my mind Jupiter ruled signs tend to go big and far which is great but can be somewhat difficult if not properly planned out- Jupiter expands what it touches often so having Saturn in a jupiterian sign is inherently at odds with the restrictive nature of Saturn Alas I was just thinking with mars Saturn where mars comes before Saturn I wonder if it’s not a go go energy that then gets restricted somehow where as with Saturn before mars it might be slow to get going but then free of restrictions in a sense in a chart after the Saturn part had been dealt with idk I could be totally off base I was aware for myself of the stop go stop go sort of nature of my own mars Saturn conjunction but it got me thinking I wonder if the order of the conjunction might actually express the energy differently

deep thoughts big love to everyone
