Jilly, that's terrible!! What a shock. I hope everything is going to be ok and you heal fast. Bad luck about the car but that's secondary. Really sorry this happened to you!!
Oh Soup, I'm so sorry. It's never easy to lose your fur baby, no matter how long they've been with us. Just as hard if they're 12 or 5 years old.
I haven't had a dog in quite a while now, but I had a wonderful rescue dog at one time; he was a cocker spaniel mix. Sweet as could be, a mama's boy. He had heart issues, and we eventually had to have him put down. I cried like a baby. He would give me signs though...he came to me in dreams, perfectly healthy...popping in to say "Hi Mom, it's ok...I'm running around playing, healthy...don't worry, I'm here...we'll be together again someday." He also let me know he would be greeting my mother when she she passed (that was a forewarning dream-she passed within a few weeks of that if I remember right).
So pay attention to any signs you might receive...it could be your girl, letting you know she's with you in spirit and doing ok.

I hadn't read this thread until now, I am so sorry. Sudden and senseless loss is traumatic, so unfair after all you've endured. I wish I had some words that could help you. Everyone else has already said it all. Just know we all love you and are praying for you.
You too Jilly, I hope you're okay!
OMG. What a shock.
I lost my cat six years ago this month to a sudden illness.
This boy was my rock. He was also a Virgo, a big gray cat. He was the most chill of all my animals. He would always jump up in my lap and purr. I now have two sweet kitty girls who I love very much, but the hole from his loss is still there. I don't think I'll ever quite get over it.
Much love to you.
I'm so sorry Soup and Jilly and to everyone else. 🙁
Hugs to all.
Got fair settlement from car, which was totalled. And medical bills from it will be taken care of. Lucky in my unluckiness (which I usually am)
