My ascendant ruler is the moon, in Pisces, conjunct Chiron in 9th placidus or 8th house equal. Directly opposite in Virgo I have Uranus/Mercury/Pluto, and Pluto opposes Moon zero degree orb exact. I have a T square of Leo Sun opposite Aqua Saturn, both square my Scorpio Neptune.

My first natal reading was back in the 1990's, one of those old school astrologers who lived in my town and gave me a 15 dollar on the phone reading. She didn't know anything about me, and she immediately started asking me questions about my parents. It was validating, learning that the crazy was evident in the chart.

I don't know how to describe the abuse. Mostly it was neglect and inappropriateness. Mom was wise but addicted to narcotics. Dad worked but drank too much, chased women and not interested in being a dad. I remember being 17 yrs. old, picking up a payphone to beg my dad to take me in because my mom was always putting our lives in danger with her chronically knocking herself unconsciousness. My dad was long remarried and lived a significant distance, his wife was a stay at home housewife and said no, she would not allow me to stay with them. Later, when I was an adult, my dad had the nerve to look me in the eyes, and tell me why he left when I was ten years old, "I hated to leave you behind, but I just couldn't take anymore". So, apparently since she was my mom, I somehow could.

The positives out of all of it, I am now 59 yrs. old and I am not addicted to anything but coffee. I raised a son on my own who is a completely independent adult about to be married. I look back now that my dad left me. Even thought it was extremely detrimental to my mental health forever, I do not think I would have survived living with him and his extremely cruel wife. Between how much my dad hated women and viewed them only as sexual objects, and his extreme, complete disinterest in being my father, my narcotic addicted mother was by far the more nurturing parent.
