What is the difference between Mercury in Gemini and Mercury in Virgo. I've always wondered about this. Anyone have good info to share?

Thanks,

Good question.

I think we can look at the elements of each one. I think of Gemini as flitting around, exchanging ideas and communicating with other people. The Virgo would probably be more concrete, firm, structured, as an earth sign, where communication is supportive of duty…?

Just thinking out loud.

They both deal with info gathering but Virgo discerns, sorts, catgorizes, imposes structure, and then serves it up Smile

Gemini is light and clever; it's a dancing mind.
Virgo is grounded and practical.

I live with this every day, but I needed an outsider's POV. My husband has Mercury in Virgo, and mine is in Gemini! We are working on a project together.

We have two totally different ways of thinking about things, and it's an interesting dynamic, Earth and Air... he is a Libra sun, and I'm a Taurus sun, so that helps balance things out I guess.

Sun, Venus, and Mercury transiting my 6th house right now. I just felt like picking at this idea.

@allie120 He offered to sit down with me to shop online for a lighting fixture. I really wanted to go to a showroom to talk to a sales person, but I knew I had to be flexible. I pulled out my laptop and we were browsing together from our couch. He freaks out when I switch between tabs or scroll or click anything - which is often lol

@cocopeaches LOL

So, like you, I would want to go to look at anything in person. I just need to see it IRL. But the tabs 🤣 I have at least four tabs on all my browsers open for infinity. My husband is a one tabber. I just watch and think about how naked it looks lol

But I do like the deadlines. That puts everything in its little box so it can be dealt with.
