Not quite. Based on what my older women and gay friends tell me, there's a veneer of politeness in certain social settings now, that you can't bug a girl to dance / buy her a drink all night. But I can still go out and somebody flirts in 5-15 minutes. That's not a flex btw. I'm not that good looking. There's just doomsayers who are insistent that dudes aren't dudes or horny anymore. Dudes still be horny, I promise.

I will say this though. An unintended side effect of campaigns to rase SA+DV awareness, and the public becoming aware of just how many women have had to deal with it, is that I hear a lot of straight men and lesbians alike complaining they feel like creeps for wanting women and making a move on them. I can 100% see that and a lot of decent people probably hesitate. People can't seem to do the the happy medium, which exists, and it's as simple making your move and accepting the first "no."
