Aka does everyone see the huge pink elephant in the room?
I decided to post something abt this as I noticed that my last two comments here/the blog were a bit too fluffy for my usual taste. I have a strong cynical/rational/grounded backbone and the neptuney stuff don't often do it for me so I was mildly albeit pleasantly disturbed by my observation.
So, first thing I ll mention will be abt music and then more astro stuff.
I wrote both of those comments while listening to a spotify playlist for study&focus (I was in a library to do some work). I picked one playlist randomly but I later checked the tracks and noticed that they were grouped in sections with similar titles with hz names in them. The number+hz thing is specifying that these were tracks giving out specific frequencies which are supposed to help you achieve mental states of better clarity, calmness etc. I have recently looked into the scientific side of this new trend and while not having any hard scientific truth, recent studies have shown that there might be something there. I' m still sceptical abt it but after today I m beginning to wonder whether this thing can actually work to some degree? Can specific hz tracks actually help get more attuned to a different state of mind without putting any more effort to it? Have you had any similar experiences?
Secondly, I have been thinking how Neptune in the anaretic degree feels like it has a certain strength, or purity about it. Granted, it does hit my chart in a positive way but it's been only the past few weeks that I have thought about it this way. More specifically, there's a sense of 'ask and you shall receive ' about it. Ask to avoid or skip and it will grant you fog thick enough to avoid to your heart's content. But ask to be shown stuff, ask for truths to be revealed and old grand Neptune will direct you to clear and precise sources of information - you just have to ask.
Has anyone else felt like that lately?
This sounds like Pluto in Aquarius working with Neptune in Pisces.
Regarding the effects of sounds with certain frequencies, I have had really good experiences listening to the "binaural beats" playlists on Spotify. I was introduced to them when I was doing syntonic phototherapy - which was basically the equivalent for the visual system, using specific colored light (red and green wavelengths) in my eyes to balance my nervous system with my environment. Believe it or not this was covered by my insurance as part of occupational therapy to treat vision problems from a brain injury! I haven't looked deep into the research on the sound therapy, but I think there are some scientific studies proving benefits. Andrew Huberman mentions it on his neuroscience podcast. I know I have good results when I play the sounds while I work, clean the house, or try to meditate. I have a friend who practices sound healing and she has all of the instruments to create the appropriate frequencies in real life. It's definitely a thing!
