Neptune effecting early cardinal degrees.

I realised only recently, last couple of days, that Neptune at 29* Pisces is squaring my Saturn in Cancer at 2*. I can feel it as I'm having quite noticeable shifts in my ego functioning versus soul embodiment, in favour of the latter. Took me a while to see there is a link between Saturn and Neptune (Saturn is in Neptune's sign right now too so it's not so easy to catch this one).

Anyway, it got me thinking about this transit to other early cardinal signs, so Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, Aries. If you have planets or points at the very beginnings of those signs then Neptune, although not yet in Aries, is actively squaring them. Worth considering!

Most definitely!  I don't have early Cardinal placements, but I have long said, Neptune squaring my Libra from Capricorn was the worst transit of my life.

@elsa Now you will get the opposition. Well, we know you love the opposition aspect 😀

@sophiab I don't look forward to it, but on the other hand, this is how I came to understand, Neptune.  Prior to this transit, it eluded me.

I have felt more sensitive lately and this explains it. Transiting Neptune is in opposition to my natal Pluto-moon in the 8th. I’ve felt like more alone time. I’ve been contemplating, regenerating & dreaming.

@hades-moon I'm assuming you have an early Libra Moon and Pluto conjunction?

Conjunct my Aries Mercury and square my Cap Mars.  When the opposite -- conjunction with Mars and square Mercury -- occurred 40 years ago, I got married.  So anticipate something positive if you have similar aspects!

@warped What degree is your Mercury, and how are you feeling the influence of Neptune nearby?

1° Aries, in 2nd.  Perhaps slightly more clumsy and scattered than usual!  Been escaping into more favorite old fiction authors. Solving an old genealogy mystery was satisfying.

@warped It's right in the heart of the action isn't it? Especially first half of next year.

For some  - the embodiment of soul hinges on the release and elimination of Neptunian transcendence in favor of an individuality more centered in personal power, will, and desire.

Notice the Black Moon in the chart . This evokes what is coming when Neptune enters Aries.

@don That makes sense to me as a Pisces Moon/Jupiter person who likes to transcend. I hope it can lead to a positive integration or balancing of the different qualities you describe because I'm currently finding myself empowered through new levels of surrendering. This surrendering seems to open momentary doorways to life drive and feelings of joy, which I can then utilise through acts of will. It's a bit chaotic and unstable at present, like a child learning something new. Hoping to move from 'momentary' towards a more consistent state of being. How are you finding things currently?

Like you in some ways - finding myself empowered with new will and desire - but different  - in that very old patterns of Piscean transcendence and surrender are being simultaneously released and and painfully eliminated from the root of my being.

A Scorpio rising @ 2 degrees - with a Libra Mercury Neptune SN conjunction in the 12 th - basically too much surrender and transcendence in the past to the point where it became self destructive.....

@don I can see what you mean if the 12th house is involved, oceans without end! My Pisces energy is in the 6th. Your 6th h NN I imagine can be helpful in this process of transition.

Yes - the 6 th house has an integrative and unifying function when it comes to all the pieces of personal reality described by the first six houses.

"This surrendering seems to open momentary doorways to life drive and feelings of joy, which I can then utilise through acts of will. "

This quote from you describes the inspiration coming thru the 12 th and Piscean transcendence - but the 6 th also carries an inspirational opening related to Mars.  Action creates and magnetizes an emergent quality of motivation.

@don I realised you were having your nodal return as well!

Do you mean the 6th h has a connection to Mars traditionally or are you referring to having Aries in 6th house?

Very cardinal day today, whilst still being heavily underwater.

The 6 th house and the sign of Virgo both are both about putting together the pieces of soul while we occupy a body.

The 6 th functions like the inverse of the 12 th - Whatever is surrendered and transcended in the 12 th - is reborn thru Mars and the 1 st house regardless of the sign on the cusp of the 1 st.  We differentiate ourselves out of that Piscean ocean  - back into the body - thru Will.

@don OK I think i'm on track now, the Mars/Aries inference relates to the movement between the 12th and 1st house, the ascendant. So it could be connected to the birth experience and it's impact on the person psychically. Because I know that if people have a lot of 12th h planets, although they have been physically born, they may not have been psychically born, the one does not equate the other. And that's something that comes up in psychoanalysis quite commonly through regression. People can be walking around 'unborn' just waiting for a new experience which enables that to occur. The birth experience can really impact people's sense of being and agency.

Yes, The ouroborus - the 12 th and 1 st - the serpent eating its tail.

What we are talking about is the core of redemption, rebirth, and transformation. It happens very deep in the root of our beings and pulls together Mars as the agent of Pluto and the connection between birth, full embodiment, and death - Virgo and Pisces.

This whole dynamic with Saturn in Pisces while Chiron and the NN are in Aries is pushing us collectively into that process of redemption and rebirth.

@don It's like turning a massive ship around. I think redemption and regression are processes that can be overlaid. They have the same purpose, to find a light that was lost or buried along the way.

This week is already very trippy with the Saturn now Neptune station, and at 29.56 degrees, a unique collective moment.
