REgarding a couple of the two most important men in my life, one has NN loosely conjunct my NN, both in Gemini; and the other has his NN almost exactly conjunct my SN, So Gem/Sag (ie our NNs are opposed).

Has anyone any idea what these placements might signify?

@BP: one of my best girlfriends has her Nodes exactly opposite mine; i.e.: her North Node is conjunct my South Node. I think we serve as guides for each other into the areas of life represented by our South Node placements. She has her South Node in Taurus and she has been a big influence in helping me become more grounded and at least to try to have some sense with money. I have South Node is Scorp in the 5th, and I have helped her with her interest in psychic activity and also helped her loosen up and enjoy life a bit (5th house.)

I have my SN/Sun/Merc conj my friend's NN/Moon in Sagittarius. He is a very good friend of mine - lots of chemistry, mutual attraction, enjoyment in each other's company. Really quite astonishing actually...but on my part, I always felt like I would be heading back into familiar territory with him, had our relationship progressed. There is so much great synastry between us but the NN/SN conj was ultimately problematic. I also think he was afraid to head towards me because I wasn't his typical love interest. Anyways, nothing has come to pass - we continue to work together - the attraction is still there but the relationship will remain at the friendship level.

The Aussie, however, is different. His sun sits halfway between my Gemini moon and Gemini NN - conjuncting both of them. It's a brillant feeling. My Venus trines his NN. Lots of good solid contact.

I read that anything conjunct the SN represents a karmic relationship, ie one between soulmates.

Mr Aries and I share an NN conjunction in leo (in my seventh house). But his moon conjuncts my SN. Definitely feels karmic, like we're glued to each other.

Will try and remember which book I read about it...

Thanks... of course in Case 1 (FGL). if our NNs are conjunct then so are our SNs! That relationship, my first serious sexual one with a man, has always felt karmic to me (and I think to him, without him quite spelling it out)
