Pluto conjunct ascendant possible indication of death?

Hello

I'll admit that I don't know very much about astrology. I've been studying my natal chart to get a better understanding of my life and how to improve it (I've really struggled with a lot of things in this life). I've read a lot about pluto indicating death when in the ascendant. I know that obviously not everyone with pluto in the ascendant drops dead, but I am a worrier. Anyway, pluto is currently in my ascendant (Capricorn) and according to the transits listed on this site, it will conjunct on Oct 3 2019. My natal pluto is in libra in the 8th house (because I know that has some kind of effect, I just don't know what).

I will be 39 on Oct 3 2019. This probably doesn't matter but it has freaked me out since I was 14. A ouija board told me I'd die when I was 39 and now I can't stop obsessing about it. Does anyone have any insight? Is there somewhere in the chart that it might indicate that I will not die in 2 years? I've also heard it can mean the death of someone else in your life. I have a son and I'm a single parent. I'm happy to post my chart if it matters.

Pluto crossed my ascendant a few years ago. I am still alive but transformed. I’m not sure how deep you want to go with this but Pluto through your 12 th and over your ascendant is offering you an opportunity to look at your fears straight in the eye. To look at how you identify yourself. Basically don’t attach yourself to anything that is temporal. Which is everything most people would call life. Don’t push it away but don’t hold on tightly. The tighter you hold onto ideas and things the gnarlier Pluto gets when ripping them from you.

It’s so much more profound than I can put into words with one post. I mean the fear of death is the last fear. If you can face that you can face anything. But never think that you can satiate fears with logic. That’s not how it works. You can’t control it. You can’t control when you die either.

Hmh,

Maybe you should have a consultation to help your fears?  Worrying and upsetting yourself definitely would probably cause more harm than good.  I am thinking of you.  This is quite a negative and obsessive thought pattern that you are stuck on.

I don't think you're crazy. When you are new to astrology things can seem pretty scary but things play out so differently for everyone. Astrology cannot predict death.

My son had Pluto conjunct his 7 degree Cap Ascendant. He's alive and well. When Pluto was conjunct his Ascendant my other son was born and things definitely changed for my Cap rising son. He was only 5. So i guess for him things played out in the way of him losing all the spot light and love. He now had a life where he had to share all of that.

Fear is Saturn. Where is Saturn for you?

Pluto scraped back and forth over my Ascendant three times over the past two years and I'm still here, as are many others!

No point fearing death as it is inevitable and can come at any time for anyone.  We should all:

Make peace with our God every day of our life.

Get our affairs in order and keep them there.

Provide as best we can for the future of anyone dependent on us.

Then relax and make the most of every day.
