I read this claim or accusation, almost all Americans argue in bad faith.  Specifically,  we are a post-truth society, where people say things and argue things they don't even believe.

I am afraid this guy has a point.  What do you think?

So many are in denial about potential jab-related health issues, due to fear, so they defy logic and defend their choices rather than acknowledge the new reality to seek out solutions.

This crops up in financial matters also, so many still pushing risk and ignoring bubbles and shaky banks.

@warped thank you. I appreciate you responding.  I have not been able to stop thinking about this. It's incubating, nicely, anyway.

I'm sure it's not just Americans though, I see it with a Canadian and a UK friend too.  Some also are aware of reality but choose to live as they always have, in an Eat, Drink, and Be Merry mode.

I don't argue with any of them, I don't even discuss such things anymore.  I already lost too many of the contacts I tried to warn a while back.

@warped I agree it's not only Americans; I was just staying to true to what I read. It's a Russian source, actually. He makes all kinds of remarks and he does diss Americans, but he quite smart and very observant so I don't care!

Since reading his comment, I've noticed all kinds of things, shocking to me, but beneficial.

I'm going to write for the blog on this, I think. I put things here, sometimes, to see if there is interest.  Usually, there is not.  So that leaves me to drop it or carry on. In this case, I have carried on!

I think it's also that certain people want to argue with a happy, successful, or confident person. It doesn't matter the subject, just that they can attack. I am still fully trying to understand the reason why, but I suspect jealousy is a factor.  Insecure people can be quite dangerous.
