Do you remember your dreams? Has the quality changed with Saturn in Pisces?  I would expect this, but no one has mentioned it so I'm curious.

Dreaming anything?

@jana Me too, but I didn't connect it with Saturn and the 4th house transit.

Saturn is transiting my first house. The major shift is that I have been dreaming about people in my day to day life. I never use to prior to this transit. My dreams use to be more abstract with faceless people 🙂. Now my dreams are more mundane and reality based.

I have Saturn in Scorpio in the 12th house natal, so I always dream, every night and I can remember some of my dreams for several years if they are strong enough, and I dream several times in one night. Dreams are very lucid occasionally, but I noticed they are more vivacious, deeper, and frequently visited by my mom in the last few months.

I had a dream last night that I was at a swim meet and all of my friends were sharing energy drinks and vanilla cake with icing before my race. I knew it was bad for me and going to frazzle my energy for the race but I also wanted to be part of the group. Sigh.

@Dori I have the same Saturn placement as you and also have several dreams per night and remember them vividly for quite some time if they are especially disturbing or real. Even when I am waking up and only remembering for a split second before getting on with my day, when I go to bed that night and close my eyes, the memories of the dreams from the night before sometimes come rushing back.

@tbb Exactly the same experience as dreaming and remembering my dreams. Sometimes it haunts me for days. Saturn in Scorpio could be powerful, but if it falls in the 12th house, I always have this feeling that I want to go forward, but someone has put a rope around my waist, and I'm running in the same place for quite some time before I manage to make few steps forward. And this was the same feeling in my dreams. I would often dream that I was chased by people who wanted to harm me but I couldn't run, and I was tortured in my dreams. My grandad was very intuitive, and very early he discovered that I had powerful dreams, he used to straighten my legs while I was dreaming so I could run. Even today, if I dream of being chased, and if the dream is lucid, I tell myself to straighten my legs so I can run. Smile

@dori very interesting. I am often chased as well, and know there is danger coming after me, but typically wake up before I am captured. I also have the issue with running, but it is bizarrly related to gravity.  I start to float, but can't gain any traction to move forward. There is nothing that propels me to actually fly, no matter how hard I work at it, I am just floating in place.

@tbb The brain is a very powerful thing, we aren't even aware of it, and if you practice, I think you could help yourself while dreaming. Before you go to sleep, think about the things that could help you, and tell yourself what you should do. After a while, your brain will remember it, and use it while you sleep. I often dream I fly, but it is always some kind of a situation where I need to run away too, and then I spread my arms, and start flying. That's a pure lucid dream and I love it when it happens. My dreams sometimes warn me when I'll get sick, or when I'm overwhelmed, or exhausted. If I'm dreaming that someone is chasing me, usually it relates to some old wound or trauma manifesting though my dreams, without actually dreaming about that exact trauma.

@dori thank you for the tip. I am going to try that tonight. I have definitely connected my dreams as ways for me to work things out too. Sometimes they are just entirely strange though!

When Saturn was in Aquarius and moving thru my 8th, I was afraid to go to sleep because I had such horrific nightmares and sleep paralysis. That was so horrible I almost don't want to live through it again. I started watching a bunch of scary shit before I went to sleep, like how some people eat spicy food to make their nose run to unclog it. I'd make the fear SO BAD that I knew it paradoxically couldn't be that bad. Then I could pass out for a few hours. 0/10.

Now that Saturn is in Pisces, I want to sleep, but not at the right times. If I have dreams, they're mostly of the psychedelic "A hotdog is the King of England and Santa is your husband" variety. Really have to mine for any "meaning." Not sure what I'm supposed to be doing with this.
