Are we talking scorpio sun or other placement?
I'm lunar scorpio and if I confide in you I trust you almost almost completely. It is not that we don't want to trust....it is something inside of us that is afraid to be completely exposed. Because once we do...then you have a huge capacity of
hurting us. We don't like to be vulnerable....
So if we do show you that much....don't take it for granted. And don't mess it up. Because we rarely look back once we move on....

Since i can't edit the other thing, i'm gonna do it here and say that I didn't mean to erase anything all i wanted to say was when i wrote the word "power" in the first place, I didn't mean it in a negative way/matter

I wouldn't call it power...
It is more a control of ourselves. We don't like to control others....
I'm well aware that others are capable of great hurt if we allow them....so I think it is more self preservation. But it can lead to lonely existance if taken to the extreme...

I also think it's depth/intensity thing plus the vulnerability factor and control over ourselves. Sometimes I'm not quite sure how to word what I need to confide (i think everybody shares that feeling though) and in the past others just don't seem to get it/ don't seem like the kind of people who would understand. Scorpios can be into some weird/taboo topics and most likely have taboo secrets or ones sit deep in the mind. The right people get it. The wrong people use it against you and those scars run deep and hurt.

Trust is a huge thing and doesn't come lightly.

I have enormous trust issues.
