I have this in the 3rd house, both in Capricorn nonetheless. I have trouble expressing my thoughts and emotions, especially around men that I like. I also have a learning disability and I'm very slow to open to people I've just met. You know how the saying quiet until I get to know you and then I'll talk your ear off? It also took me six years to get a college degree. Saturn definitely delays but the hard work eventually pays off.
That's me! I don't talk much in social situations but when I become comfortable around people, then I'm more sociable and can finally be my awkward self.
To others with this natal placement (not necessarily the exact placement of mine), have you had similar experiences as I have?
My son has this in Leo in the 11th. He’s thirteen and basically is self regulating as far as behavior. I trust him a lot.
My son has his sun conjunct Saturn in the 8th. He's got serious boundaries, he's parental and he wants control of his life! 
I have this conjunction (on same degree) in Leo, in 11th (by equal) or 10th (by Placidus).
I have a hard time actually measuring what this does. Mostly I feel like I'm going through life in a straight jacket dragging a ball and chain.
But I think it gives me a sort of slow perseverance (for some things, not for all), and I think I'm generally serious. (A few frou-frou female sort)
Alas these two planets oppose my Moon, so perhaps that makes me a bit pessimistic, and not the Sun-Saturn itself.
Like you I'm rather reserved &/or uncomfortable in public, usually more of a listener than a talker. But when I know people I manage to loosen up. Sometimes (like you) I can jabber for hours, I guess that's to compensate for all the listening...
With guys it's Shitsvile, but I think that is due to my Venus square Neptune.
However, I think it's a good aspect or work/professional life.
You mention trouble expressing thoughts & emotions - not sure that is Sun-Saturn (although Saturn could hold you back), but pehaps more Mercury-Moon thing.
My conjunction is in the 3rd house, which could explain those difficulties. I do have Moon conjunct Mercury in that same house but I feel it's a wide orb as Mercury is in Capricorn at 25 degrees while Moon is in Aquarius at 5 degrees. Way too wide for me personally. I generally allow up to a 5 degree orb.
Sun conjunct Saturn in the 12th house scorpio. I have a difficult time finding the the words to express what I am thinking.
There are things I just "know" but I cant tell you how I know?
I absolutely can not do public speaking. I am also more of a listener than a talker {unless I come across someone who is more of a listener than I am}.
