My pisces daughter can contradict herself in one sentence, and play dumb- drives me nuts. I'll just tell her,, you don't have to play dumb. She sees straight through everything, and I know it. She knows it. It comes so easy for her, but for the sake of conversation, she'll play dumb, even though she knows. Intuitive antenae. 
She would never have to talk, if she didn't have to. (if people weren't so dense)
For me it's feeling one way, thinking about lots of things, while my body is immersed on the planet. I feel and absorb a lot in my enviornment, but I try to connect with people on their level. I try, but it doesn't work a lot of the time, and miscommunication ensues This is why it seems like I mean one thing while saying another - I'm in my own world submerged, but I have to work on this one, and you sense both. I know what is going on, but parsing is difficult or me to choose.
It gets aggravated if people stir up intense emotions or I am going through something on the inside - like angry waves but I try to keep a calm surface. I don't avoid confrontation, but a lot of things just aren't a big deal to me whereas someone else may have confronted. I can see how things may just be what it is, and I prefer to leave it as it is unless it's a threat. It's genuinely not an excuse, but my view is wider. The downside is sometimes it's so wide and kaladeiscopey that I forget I'm not even in there. I don't mind, but I have to live with others, so I cope as well as I can.
Now add this with Gem facade and Sag and you get a lot of shiny glitter.
