So is it interpreted the same as a Moon Jupiter conj in synastry?
Yes! Here is a link..i think this site explains it pretty well. Hope its okay to post it here..not promoting the site but it explains it better than I could.

There is a difference in the feel of a parallel as compared to a conjunction but its hard to put into words what that difference is. Its almost like the parallel makes two planets that are otherwise in different signs, more in harmony, they blend..its like they are the same but different...very hard to explain. But the parallel almost feels even more harmonious than a conjunction, probably because there is not "too much" of one energy.. but when there is a conjunction and parallel simultaniously, it is super potent, its called an occultation.
But you just have to experiment and "feel" the parallel for yourself to know their effect.
Very interesting thanks!
Wow, interesting stuff hereI knew nothing about declinations, really great stuff
I read for an unaspected planet one should also look at the ruler/ cusp and see the aspects it does in synastry, like for example having unaspected Venus, but aspects to the ruler of the 7 house, it adds/ stimulates feelings of affection.
Our angles are conjunct by two degrees (which is a fun and significant aspect) We share an Aries fourth house. Theres some Mars action in our synastry. Nothing outrageous but there’s definitely some contacts there.
Thanks!:)
Also.
Check the midpoint of moons.
Then.
Check what planet/s is connected to that point.
There you will find your emotional compatibly...
Thanks Chad. The midpoint of our Moons is on my Mercury, trine their Jupiter.
