CBDC

Jupiter (worldwide) in Taurus (currency) conjunct Uranus (Digital)... it certainly seems possible to me.

What do you think?

I just replied to Soup about this in the AI thread.  I say, what we should All say -- "Over my dead body!"

@warped Honestly, I think people will accept it in droves.

I'm sorry for this unpopular opinion.  I just can't see how they won't, when their dollars are not accepted as payment.

It's a tiny minority, capable and willing to live off the land and barter for goods.

For example, I'm a hardcore gardener, living in the country for most of my life. I will have a digital wallet the second it's necessary to live and eat and trade.

It's not like I think there is anything good about it. There is nothing at all good about it - NOTHING. But realistically speaking, you can sit it out and starve... which they will allow, I'm sure. Most are not going to take that option.

Now this is if it comes down like a curtain, which may be what happens. If there is a fight to fight, I'll fight. I think it's possible but I don't think it's likely.

I just asked someone who is on disability, if they enjoyed their life with their small stipend. Answer was, "yes", without qualification, and this is a Q person!!

So what the hell? People are given a small amount of money and they will do what they have to do to keep it coming in.  Don't underestimate the level of grooming that's gone on.

Also, social security would be paid in digital currency. In reality, I don't think people will relinquish their rights to payment in any form, when it is the only thing being offered.

Mine goes directly into my small bank which maintains that it won't participate.  Our governor, assuming he's genuine and not a psyop, has already taken measures to keep CBDC out of our state.

You may accept it or even welcome it -- until yours is limited to an arbitrary pittance like the $40/day max as is now the rule in Nigeria, or cut altogether because of something you said online or something you refuse to allow done to you.

Wonder how all those drug cartels and users will manage without cash?

@warped please don't misunderstand me. I know how awful this is.  I know all about being blocked, are you kidding?  It's just that I am also a realist and there are legions of people who have no savings at all and are in fact, in debt. So if these people get any currency of any kind, they will use it.

The you have people paid by the government, not just ss and ssd, but also government employees... see what I'm saying?  They can say NO and mean it but they will have no currency unless they spend the digital?  There is a thing called, "hunger" and most people do not have anywhere to plant a garden, or whatever.

I have heard the currency will be tightly controlled; you must spend it in x number of days or it expires. Every cent you spend is tracked? They cut you off because you said the wrong thing / thought wrong / read the wrong thing? I know all the potential horror but what I am suggesting is the overwhelming majority will go with it, rather than starve, the same way they will stand in line for food.  Hunger trumps pride.

As for your gov, he's one of them. They are all one of them.  It's easy to see if you just realize they are actors and we are living in a play... like a school play.

Someone plays the good guy, someone plays the bad, then the good is the bad.... it just like any show on tv.  These people have lines and they stand on their marks and recite them - period.

To be clear, I don't know exactly what is going to happen. I am trying to write that which I DO know and I can tell you this - I'm pretty careful.

We could also get defi currency too. A new kind of stock market and a new kind of bank. I really don't know. I posted this because of JUPITER URANUS in Taurus which definitely fits the idea of a worldwide digital currency and I just wondering what others think (as always).

This may illustrate the difference between you and I. I think this could easily happen to most all of us. Just look at Venezuela.

This is what I think I wrote about, recently, somewhere. I USED to think that could never happen to us... it's clear to me now, I was utterly wrong about that.

So all I am saying is if I have no money and I am given a digital currency of type, I will of course, spend it and I think, realistically speaking, so would most people... certainly, everyone I know would in fact, buy their groceries with whatever they have to spend.

Last, this is not my foregone conclusion. I just think this is in the realm of possibility and "digital currency" of some type is a probability in my mind.  But I know there are surprises ahead and some of them may be good, or even great.  So for me, it's wait and see.

I agree with you completely.  Yes, it has become obvious that my Gov is too over the top to be real.  Will he reneg or be "unable" to keep CBDC out of our state?  Or will we be overrun and pillaged by "refugees" from other states?

Most cant, but there are a few people throughout the world prepared to ride it out.  They may be the only ones who survive if this eventually snowballs into global famine, chaos, and war, as seems to be the plan.

Agreed, I expect something to move forward on this front. I think just a seed for greater efforts further down the line.

Either way, it's got my attention to the point where I'm going to start factoring this into future plans to see if I can get an edge on this.

Afterthought, if this is to happen, it's possible they put a bunch of horror out there about it. Then they bring it in, with fewer restrictions or insults. People feel relieved, its not as bad as they feared. They accept it...

Then they start the frog boil process and the covert harassment of anyone who resists.

It just occurred to me, it will seem attractive in some way. Same as when we were invited onto the internet. We're already the internet of bodies from what I can see.

The covert harassment of anyone who resists.

We all just went through this. Subsequently I will never be the same.

What you just went through was just a tiny little sample of what's ahead.

I agree. If it's digital there is an off button. Just ask the truckers and their supporters in Canada.

@jana it reminds me of special forces dude, Arie, from long ago.

"Motherfuckers are going to do what motherfuckers are going to do."

Simple truth that eludes many.
