Neptune, Moon and Jupiter in Scorpio, first house....I don't really get jealous as much as wounded to my core by insensitivity to my feelings. Then I shut down.

I agree with all other responses, but there's nothing that can't be fixed by being better looking or more intelligent.

As a Scorpio Moon/Rising, I can become jealous of those people that are able to go through life oblivious to others' feelings.

Interesting, CArRiE--my partner is also Scorpio Moon/ASC and that really bothers him--maybe there is some jealousy in it for him, as well?

I think it's a broader than any one situation, and I don't think it has a trigger. I think the jealousy has roots in a need for more power. It doesn't matter if that type of power or power in that situation is what the scorpio wants -- it's just power for power's sake.
