I had a client ask if I thought the person's chart I was looking at seemed like they'd be "cold". I stumbled on the question. I'd never been asked this before.
The main thing is what is "cold"? How's that defined?
Moon in Capricorn? Okay, but, Satori, has one of those and she's not cold at all.
Moon in Aquarius. Does "detached" equal "cold"? I don't think so.
Is there something you might see in a chart that would give you the impression a person is cold?
I’ve seen coldness a lot with Moon in Capricorn but not always. Maybe 50/50? My Grandmother has the Moon in Cap and is not cold at all. I have Saturn conjunct the I.C, which is, I’m sure a similar energy to Moon in Cap. I think Saturn/Cap in general is pretty cold but it depends on the chart how cold. And how healthily the energy is expressed.
Maybe an unpopular opinion. But never met a warm Virgo Moon person.
@amuseme I live with two Virgo Moons (my bf and daughter). I wouldn’t call them warm but not cold either—maybe a little detached with sudden bursts of affection, lol. I have a Cancer Moon, so it’s a little challenging.
Honestly I find mutable energies to be cold but that could be synastry with my chart. They fall in “cold” houses for me. 3/9 axis and 6/12 axis. For someone like me who likes to grasp and connect and devour things the mutables always feel unsatisfying which leaves a cold feeling inside of me. It’s also probably how they survive me though? I can’t blame them for that.
Everybody makes sense. I'm glad I asked this. I was stumped by the question. This gives me a better idea why!
Sun conjunct Saturn. Venus in Aquarius. Aqua moon. Cap moon .... Mercury in Cap is cutting and cold at times when they speak.
BUT I live with a Cap moon with Aqua rising so he can be.... 😩 but it lasts till I say something. He is a walking pot of Saturn on my life. Until............ (in his defense, here I am defending him now...smh.. he has a Pisces Sun and Venus so there is a very sweet side) (Man will sleep on the floor with a sick dog for a week and pet the fur off of it)
My youngest son the Gemini has an Aqua moon and I am not sure he is cold.. he is generous.. but he just isn't going to pour emotions all over you.
My DIL the Cap Sun with the Scorpio rising... lord help us one and all. She can go dead cold. (Pluto conjunct her rising) and mean as hell. She can be cold and cruel. Now, I am not complaining as she is running that family very well and I am proud of her.. but with the wrong person... she is a sledgehammer and very cold.
