I don’t mean to just come back in out of nowhere, but I’ve been here forever. It’s always a little awkward to step in like I know everyone here (I kinda do 😉
Those sweet love stories and songs gave me a big smile, I love (and respect) long term marriages, there’s something about sticking with something, even when it’s hard, that is rewarding. It’s something money can’t buy but is hard earned thru persevering in difficult times. It was many years ago that Elsa helped me patch my own relationship back together (forever grateful for her help, then and now). It wasn't always easy but it was well worth it.
So I dragged my old man husband from the great American west to Ireland for about 6 weeks in 2022 for a grand adventure.
It was entirely his idea and execution to get a rose tattoo with my name, mainly due this song. He had our daughter sketch the design from the video and found the perfect personable Irish man to do the job.

I remember seeing this video when I was like 10 and thinking she was the coolest chick ever. I’m proud of my younger self for having such good taste lol.
