It looks like more people, things and places are "coming back".  It's exciting and gives me hope!

@elsa People will be back. The deep suffering has been profound, and people have been knocked for a loop in so many ways. Financially, health wise, psychologically. Especially psychologically. The damage. It will be a long time before we know just how deep this runs. We witnessed real fear.

Whatever that was and whatever it was supposed to cause, it did. Good news is people are more resilient than some may believe. They will overcome all this.

I helped two people get in their boat today. Very satisfying is both directions.  It's just great if you can spare a person pain and suffering.

Sister called me.  She was so excited. She walked up the three steps into her house without using a cane or handrails. The physical therapy is working. Mostly the therapy was to keep her chest skin from shrinking after the radiation treatment for the double mastectomy.  The therapist is working everything that needs addressing.

It’s such a relief to have her in a better mental space.

Cicadas are beginning to fade, thank God. Saw one lonely turkey in the yard, today. Usually there is a group of them. Also, an owl was sitting on top our grape arbor yesterday. Quite odd.
