My brother in law will have the current stent taken out, next week. They will also remove the stone and then put in a new stent... which he will have removed in another two weeks.

He is not happy, does not feel good. He's also ret. from the Pentagon and now works a liaison between tech / gov. He know nothing about tech. He does know how to deal with bureaucracy.   Anyway, he is working to help today's issue, through they aren't making him do it. It takes his mind off the health stuff.

My goodness, I bet he could tell a few stories -- but probably shouldn't!

Hulu has a new documentary on Jim Jones / Jonestown.  If you're new here - my husband had to go clean up those bodies.  Just gross.

@elsa I watched that documentary a few weeks ago.  It is eerie. The worst part was that he made them do (placebo) poison-drinking drills multiple times beforehand as a test of faith, or however he referred to it.  I can't imagine how you can clean that place up without being haunted by it the rest of your life, and then have to watch the media joke about drinking the Kool-aid.

This was interesting.  A thought like this would never cross my husband's mind. It's never crossed mine, either. I think it shows how different people and their perspectives can be.

A Virgo and a Taurus. You'll never tear these two apart. They say earth signs have no feelings. HA!

My friend, denamaria, who some of you know, had an eventful week.

Her son had a baby (first grandchild). Her (live in) bf had a stroke.  She was running between the two hospitals (this happened in a 2 day time frame).

When the eight paramedics who came to the house over the stroke, one of her dogs got out... was run over and killed.

Further, her boyfriend had a cat scan in the hospital and was told he has Lewy Bodies dementia coming on.

@warped Yes.  I pray the same.  There is also a suicidal daughter.

This song plays in my head:

I'm working to keep my energy up so I can support her (and others).

@elsa I'm so sorry to read this. Too many things to process at the same time.

Lewy Body dementia is associated with Parkinson's. Sometimes the dementia shows first, mostly the body control shows first. I'm pretty sure my mother had the Lewy Body Dementia as she had many of the signs - double vision, hallucinations, and others I can't recall at this time.

I wish the best for the baby, mother, boyfriend, and Denamaria.

Also, the baby came via c-section.  They took the mom away, told the dad, they'd be back with the baby in 20 minute.

He did not get news for 90 minutes, though he was making demands.  She had general anesthesia and no one knows why. The just don't answer the question.

Baby is a Cancer with a Scorpio moon.

@elsa Usually dad has the option to be present for a C-section, unless it's emergent enough that mom and/or baby might not survive, in which case he should be informed. My brother and I were both emergency C-sections and I almost didn't live through being born (edit to add) and our dad was present for both of our births.

I'm not going to "should" on him when this was clearly a traumatic experience, but he'd be well within his rights to document everything and start applying legal pressure.

@elsa I thought dads were always allowed into the C-section room. Always.  There is not excuse for 90 minutes of separation/news.

@sue-ellen I will find out if there is any news on this, when I talk to her. We're playing phone tag.

Remember when people got upset over people having too many items in the quick-check? Far simpler times!
