Sister and I made it to the wedding in North Carolina. We are now at Kitty Hawk at a beachfront hotel with pier. The waves are so soothing for now We’re under a flood watch.
The wedding was wonderful. Just beautiful. Both brides cried during vows. The drag queen entertainment was very funny. Her name is Stormy Days or maybe Daze. I privately told her a joke I made up that she says she’ll use!!!
As the Internet melt down, my brother the systems engineer says too many businesses rely on cloud services instead of keeping data local. Case in point, sister and I are in a third hotel during this road trip. The second one couldn’t issue door keys to visitors. The staff had to take people to their rooms and use a master key for entry. The other two hotels had no problem. All three are in the same chain.

This is exactly what has happened.
My dog went to vet on Friday for an aural hematoma due to allergies. My friend wh owns a dog rescue came with me for backup during the exam because he is strong and wild in the exam. $450 for allergy shot, antibiotics, blood draw for lyme an exam fee. I'm crushed financially.
This dog is my heart and soul. I've known him since he was 6 weeks old, but he was raised for the first 6 months primarily by my ex who was less than responsible when it came to discipline.
This dog is a Taurus sun with a mercury/mars conjunction in the sign as well. He has separation anxiety (I don't blame him, believe me he's been through it), this means I have to bring him to daycare when I work so he doesn't destroy my house, escape and hurt himself.
I had several people, not in a well meaning way over the last couple days tell me to get rid of the dog. Which would be like getting rid of my child and for certain would mean euthanasia for him.
But he's not a bad dog. Not human or other dog aggressive Just severe separation anxiety and doesn't kennel well (he breaks out. Like destroys chain link fence.).
It's sad the number of people who will just give up on you or an animal because it's not convenient. I guess that's the point of the story is

In truth it's the dog who's showing me the way to be a better person, not holding me back.
And because of him it's more clear which humans should be in my circle of trust.
Those are the very same lessons I'm still learning from my beloved dog. ❤️

So quiet here, in the middle of all chaos.
I have the astro fairy peeps, my neighbor and my sister-in-law and friend in town. Just hoping nothing drastic occurs.
I personally feel good and solid. My husband is also really grounded at this time. If I can help all six of the fairy crew, it will give me a very good feeling. All in all, I can't complain. I's go as far as to say, I feel "sustained".
